Colorado Marijuana sales 67 milion tax revenue

January 1st recreational sales became legal in Colorado. Meanwhile across the country some guy has been murdered in a back alley because a drug deal went bad. A SWAT team has just kicked down the door and killed an elderly woman because they had the wrong street address. And an innocent couple waits by the roadside while a police dog searches their automobile. Colorado's new law will not come without loss. The states DEA will suffer most. Surely they will miss those early morning raids, kicking down doors and shooting peoples dogs. Confiscating peoples homes and automobiles, humiliating peo -
I am totally amazed at how many card carrying pcom Constitutionalist that are perfectly willing to bend over and spread their cheeks to anyone wearing a badge and uniform. Is it just because it's some other poor slob and you're sure it would never ever happen to you or what ? What am I missing here ? Damned if I would let some cop stick his finger up my you know what without so much as a struggle. From airport pat downs to roadside searches what the hell has happened to Americans these days that we sit back and passively allow this ? Forget about guns what America needs is to grow a pair.

The only thing that you need to defeat gates with coded entrances is just wait for someone who has the code and then follow them in.

Purely a show of status, reminds me of those expensive lady's shoes with the red soles. On the other hand it is a great way to show your family and friends just how much disposable income you have, and it is cheaper than a fur coat or a Mercedes S Class. -

Boston University professor predicts what life would be like in 50 years. Provided man had not annihilated himself before then. What must have sounded like science fiction back then. Was he close ? Isaac Asimov Predicts in 1964 What the World Will Look Like Today — in 2014 "Gadgetry will continue to relieve mankind of tedious jobs. Kitchen units will be devised that will prepare 'auto meals,' heating water and converting it to coffee "Vehicles with 'Robot-brains' … can be set for particular destinations … that will then proceed there without interference by the slow reflexes of a human

As my testosterone level continues to drop women are beginning to look less and less attractive. Which is a shame because I had always hoped to have someone around in my retirement years to listen to me complain about my aches and pains . Maybe I should get a dog.

13 states raising pay for minimum-wage workers
CitizenCain replied to lucky64's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No just a minimum wage that would not require government subsidies to keep them alive. Ask yourself how long would Walmart's business model work if you and your tax dollars were not subsidizing their payroll ? Did you know part of a Walmart HR reps duties is to explain to their workers how to apply for food stamps ? * you might also be interested that adjusted for inflation today's minimum wage is about the same as that paid in 1950 when it was 75 cents an hour ? http://splicer.com/2013/12/10/chart-minimum-wage-cost-living-adjusted-dollars -

A single potato found left in a farmers field is not meant to support a family but if that is all that's left you will surely pick it up and take it home. -

No that would be the convenience store hold ups, the smash and grabs and the thousands of home invasions committed on a daily basis. -

I believe if you watch the 6 o'clock news long enough you'll soon see that for a lot of people that decision has already been made. -
You should tell your family from now on not to go to the trouble of shopping for presents. Tell them you prefer cash or gift cards. They might of course tell you the same thing and Christmas day would be reduced to the exchange of money and cards. A more efficient way would be to keep your money and tell your friends and family keep theirs. That of course would in the end answer the question once and for all if you are you being a scrooge.

Then what else are we to do ? We all agree that we all need to keep a large enough group of people working at a wage low enough to make our lives more comfortable and affordable. This wage should be as close to the edge of subsistence living as humanly possible but therein lies the dilemma . These "people" have to eat otherwise they would just waste away and that wouldn't do. Even a plantation owner knows his slaves have to eat. Another problem is keeping a roof over their heads, Dying from exposure is not an option these people must live to continue serving us. Of course there's food stamps -

How is someone supposed to maintain food stamps...
CitizenCain replied to monochromer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Maybe she needs to look into marrying into money, perhaps you could give her some advice on that ? * Or maybe if she had the money to take a day off from work she wouldn't need food stamps. Your hartless assumptions baffle me. -

Student Hugs Teacher, Gets Suspended For A Year
CitizenCain replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Maybe of we had fewer parents making excuses for their disrespectful children we wouldn't have so many school shootings. Did you know the last shooting was only because the kid had been disciplined and suspended from a frigging debate team ! And then their was the kid that got drunk and killed 4 people in a car accident. He had been so coddled all his life his lawyer turned it into a defense. Affluenza ! Now keep your damned kids off my grass ! -
