Agree with JUST TRASH! But I use them for another reason. Husband and wife owner, he drives the truck, she runs the office and one employee/helper. an adult autistic man who is the son of a friend. Just hits me right in the heart, that one does, for obvious reasons. Been with them more then two years and I get hugs when I'm home and see them. I also pay them in full a year out and I don't care one bit they're a little bit more then everyone else. Sure hope this business THRIVES!!

I tried using this business to buy four new tires for my husband's car last year, then again two months ago when I need four new tires for my van. After leaving several messages over several days both times, I even PM'd and comment on one of their threads advertising their tires, but eventually, I gave up and went elsewhere. I never recieved a call back nor have I ever recieved a live person when I called, either last year or this one. The most recent time I needed tires, I ended up at a national chain store with three letters in it. They were awesome. All four installed and I was o

I agree. And expect the first visit to be several hours. He evaluates your child at play, interacting with you, others in the waiting room, etc. It's more then just filling out forms and describing your child using a 1-5 scale. (But there's those, too) They help with children already diagnosed. Excellent resource, personal expeirence speaking, but they need an official diagnosis, which a behavioral specialist will give you.

Pefect! I'll go by this afternoon and introduce myself to the staff. Thank you!

I guess I'm hijacking the thread away from the article.... Before I had kids, I used to visit a VA nursing home very close to my home. At first, it was chance thing. My old career took me there for work and I went back on my own to visit because of the impression it left with me. I could not stop thinking about those who felt "forgotten", who don't want to be a burdon to their younger relatives but who still want to be loved and feel needed. By the time I moved, I had been going daily, stopping in after work and sometimes spending my lunch hours there too. I spent my time with those

AWWW!!!! GREAT JOB, MOM!! She's GORGEOUS!!! "Freedom has a scent, like the top of a new born baby's head...." (Bono) May her life be filled with love, confidence, and peace. May her light thrive in the darkness of this world and may you always have the wisdom to guide her through. Best Wishes to your whole family!!

Elementary bus never came this morning

Jaycee Duggard's stepfather was on the porch, watching her at the bus stop at the end of the driveway when she was snatched. She was my age at the time and it was the first time I remember knowing about a kidnapping. This is one of many reasons I am "overprotective", a "helicopter mom", and apparently "have nothing better to do" then to supervise my kids. But I then I overheard my oldest explaining to another kid that I was "never the kind of mom who can just sit on the bench and watch the kids play" (his words!), this made me feel so good, to know that my kids understand the difference bet -
I just KNEW it had something to do with the tunnels....

School bus pulled over at 278 & 61, mailman pulled over down the street on 61 (toward PCHS) and surrounded by GSP, then farther down, past high school, two county vans off the road surrounded by GSP. Anyone know what's up?

That's why you get your day in court. Tell it to the Judge and if you're telling the truth, fine and dandy, sorry for the inconvience, just doing their job, yada yada yada. I'd rather our Deputies follow protocall just to be sure and I'll talk to the one that makes the final decision. Yes, I am aware that I may be the one inconvienced some day and that I may get online and whine and complain about it..... Isn't it nice to have the FREEDOM to do that, though?

I can sleep through anything. I have actually slept through a tornado. The only reason I know about the storms overnight is due to the three kids and two dogs that piled into my bed during the wee hours. I woke up long enough to register the booming thunder, make sure everyone was covered and comfy, and to wiggle my way back into my spot.

You forgot the ice cream. Blue Bell is the only brand that is still a true half gallon, but they're also the most expensive unles you hit a good sale. And buying in "bulk" doesn't help as much as it used to. The packages at the wholesale clubs are smaller as well. And many of the prices went up. This is the reason that despite "price matching", I still end up studying the ads and make 3 lists for various stops on errand-day!

I didn't bother reading everything else, just this post. YES!!!! OMEGA 3 DHA WORKS ON ADD/HD. From a parent who KNOWS FIRSTHAND!!! I started my oldest (10) who is autistic on Omega 3 DHA Fish Oil in October. At the time, some pretty hard core meds were "suggested". The meds scared the crap out of me, especially the side effects as the kids get older. I remembered reading an article about OMEGA 3 DHA having healing effects on the brain. It was an article about the West Virginia Miner, the one survivor pulled out of a mine a few years ago. He had severe brain damage and was comatose

Because the way you wrote it was from the heart. I could feel your surprise at the fact that it was working. AND, I was a teenage girl. Pre-teen, teenage, the hormones are the same. Just be present. That's all it will take for that door to swing wide open. I'll be thinking about you. Enjoy the game!

You Rock!!! Stay Strong, Dad. Just being there is the difference.

I was induced on my youngest two due to crazy fast labor. My daughter was born within 10 minutes of my water breaking. If I waited at home until my water broke, she would have been born in the car on the side of the road. All births were the natural way. My sister in law was induced in Feburary and after more then 40 hours of labor, went in for the c-section. I don't know if the induction is as big a factor for more c-sections. Every woman and pregnancy is different. Every delivery is different. I'm sure this is really helpful. Prayers for swift and healthy delivery!! I'm reall

There is no way it was a plane. If there is no "confirmed source" then it MUST be the Tunnels. -

The first boom was around 7:30 followed by several shotgun blasts and another BOOM about 7 minutes later. I thought someone shot a gas can or propane tank until I got on pcom last night. Then the neighbors all called early this morning with the rumor mill. -

No, but that's outside the areas my kids and I haunt. Plus, if I saw that lady, I would have NO doubt what was going on in her house. ETA: I've wandered the woods all around the mountain and the SCT. I speak to people when I see them, especially when I'm walking. I see the people who "look" like addicts as I go to the store and around town, but not in the areas we actually play and live. The neighbors have really nice houses, yards, gardens. Friendly folks who make eye contact and wave as I pass through. People who have clear eyes and not red or yellow, seemingly have their teeth, a -

Because "Paulding County is the meth capital". I've been told this for years and IF it was a meth lab, this is the first I've heard of one actually here, in my little area. Not that I don't know that it exists here, and I've been "warned" about Winndale road but every neighbor I've met all around the area are all nice, friendly, approachable people with nice houses and yards. After 8 years, I really feel like this area is a great neighborhood to raise kids. I am STILL waiting to hear what it actually was, though. If anyone is able to find out, please update when possible. It's cert -
Not only causing needless worry, but also when something evil ACTUALLY happens (and it does every day), the community will be more likely to blow it off. I will wait to reserve judgement for the coming charges. There should be video of the gas stops along the way and maybe at the gas station across the street from the motel he was a "hostage" at.
