  1. soa has already been renewed for a 13 episode season 5. i wish there was more good shows like this on tv. about the only things i watch any more are: (not in order of which one is best) sons of anarchy boardwalk empire justified walking dead fringe homeland breaking bad true blood (but this last season i thought was pretty bad) hell on wheels might end up being pretty good, but hard to tell after only one episode
  2. i will stop playing the race card when it stops being played. they automatically assumed that because they had backpacks and were black that they were guilty of a crime.
  3. terrible thing. they should be charged with wwb (walking while black) /sarcasm mode off i really dislike bigots
  4. when i first moved here the first girlfriend i had locally went to highland rivers, with a diagnosis of bipolar. she was given prescriptions for free for the first 30 days due to vouchers. after the 30 days the prescriptions that they hooked her on were not covered by her insurance, and would have cost her 800 out of pocket per month. she crashed, badly, and ended up in rtu in cedertown. i visited her in rtu several times while she was inpatient, and frankly, i would not have let either of my dogs stay there for more than an hour. after that they released her to the "day treatment" facility
  5. could somebody please explain to me this gay marriage issue? i am attracted to women, and always will be. if they allow two guys(or two women) to be married, does that mean i will suddenly change what i am attracted to? or explain to me how a same sex couple getting married will effect MY daily life?
  6. i guess we read separate rulings then. frankly i don't care, since i will be moving to a different state soon......but if you want your constitutional rights violated, be my guest
  7. yep i know.....ussc reversed them with rehnquist saying that all of your "bill of rights" are revokable if the government finds them to inconvenient to the government. you may wish to read what was said in Michigan Dept. of State Police v. Sitz, 496 US 444 - Supreme Court 1990 it states that these "checkpoints" have to be announced to be legal. you will have to follow several of the other cases referenced to get the complete picture on the other hand, ask surepip how well paulding county government follows the law
  8. and you might want to check federal guidelines and or the supreme court rulings. last time i looked federal superseded state laws, but then again i am not an EX-leo
  9. if they are not announced, they are not legal, per federal guidelines, and the supreme court ruling. best thing is to get past them without problems, but call the next day and complain. i am leaving this state next month, so i have no dog in this fight.....but for those of you who wish to live here might want to stand up now, before more of your constitutional rights are ignored
  10. i always tell the bank that issued my debit card that i am going on vacation, so they can raise the limits. the reason is i have the cash withdrawal\daily purchases set at a very low level to prevent fraud. never had a problem with the credit card issuer
  11. can i give you a plus 2000 for this? and we are talking about blazing saddles as far as i know
  12. if you live in paulding county i would say driving is not optional, but pretty much mandatory. and lets see...if you buy health insurance you are supporting a socialist government. if you don't but insurance you are a leach on society, getting health care for free seems like a no win situation in your opinion. and by the way, i have paid for my own insurance since 1995, so i guess i am a socialist....or self emplyed .
  13. it probably would depend on the judge making the decision.
  14. i take it that you failed at math in elementary school, and never caught up.
  15. yep, it is scary is the end of the world near?
  16. if the smell is only in her mouth, feed her treats might fix the problem... and hey, it is a dog...one of the reasons we as humans domesticated dogs was to get rid of rodents, it did its job, so reward it with something tasty\smelly
  17. ok this is scary...we posted the same advice
  18. a rat? should not be much of a smell. as far as harm goes, if your dog is current on it's rabies shot it should be ok. the old school method for getting rid of a smell is giving it a bath in tomato juice
  19. but they do......and people seem to complain more about it being spent here, rather than over there. if we are going to spend it, spend it here first
  20. so it is better for the government to pay for health care in third world countries, than to take care of the people here in this country? really?
  21. public transportation? in paulding county? i missed that......where do i catch the bus? walk? it is 3.6 miles one way to the nearest convenience store, over 6 to the closest real grocery store, per google maps if i live in paulding county i either have to have a car, or a friend with a car in order to survive go ahead and continue to advocate helping people abroad first.......i will keep advocating we help people that are local first
  22. ok....in your opinion it is better to spend money on giving aid to third world countries for health care, than to provide for the people here in this country. does disagreeing with that make me a socialist? the government already makes me purchase a product, in the form of auto insurance.
  23. yep, been there, done that, got several t-shirts to prove it they are cheaper at harbor freight by the way
