If I may ... I think the problem is how she did it, not that she tried to do something. Sure, it's nice that she wanted to help the kittens but not only did she put them ahead of herself ... she also put them ahead of everyone else in the area at the time. Her intent may have been good but her actions were foolhardy.

I don't think that person who hit her is a big fan. And I'd be surprised if there wasn't a lawsuit coming down the line.

I am both surprised and very pleased to see the county going the GT route vs. a private consultant firm.

Not used stuff in there, "scratch and dent" ... and the prices aren't great.

Bellagio is beautiful and worth checking out. (Jean Philipe Patisserie is yummy!) If you get the chance, have dinner at FIX. Check out Cirque Du Soleil's "O". We didn't have much time to check out too many things other than what was right by Bellagio, Jockey Club, etc. but it was all wonderful. (Lunch at le Cafe in Paris wasn't good, though.)

There are some departments that have their dispatch in the same location as their station/precinct. There was no clear statement one way or another but the story in the video comes across as it being the same officer. If it had been a separate officer that made the arrest I am sure they would have clearly stated it as the arrest was based on a charge that they said does not exist.
