(This two ID thing gets a little confusing sometimes ... I just had to double-check and see who posted that last one. )
-
My little one is pretty much still just into ponytails but she's starting to like clippies more. I think of the ones shown, she would most like this one: Maybe try to come up with a few different animal/color choices, too. Not just the white/hello kitty.

Shall we leave a trail of crumbs for you next time, IB?
-
I wonder if we could get one of our Paulding wood workers to make a small wishing well for this? It could pop up at various events/locations throughout the county.
-
I like the new name. And as I already said ... I'll do everything that I can to help out. In fact, if you want to get me a large jar (or how cool if you could get a small wishing well) I'll put it out at the West Georgia Crafts event coming up.

Great way to spend a little time on a rainy day. And tomorrow is half price day!

Sorry not to respond sooner. (I missed this post.) Yes, we do have/drive a pick up (in addition to other). And while you say that $4 million is just a drop in the bucket, it is a drop in the collective bucket of all taxpayers in this state. If you look at the percentage of pick up truck drivers who actually give a rat's but about this in comparison the the total population of the state, it's ridiculous to expect the rest of us to give up that money for such a small percentage. Again I say ... if this were about all seat belt laws instead of one small exemption, I'd be right
-
You are not going to make seat belt laws go away ... that is a fact of the times we live in. Therefore, it is time to look at what this exemption is costing the state. If this argument were over "all" seat belt laws in the state, I'd be right there with you. But it isn't.
-
Getting around the argument of whether or not such things should even be the territory of the government, do you feel that your personal choices should still be honored even at the expense of others? $4 million dollars is being kept out of this state because of that exemption. Here's a thought ... let all non-seatbelt wearing pick up drivers pony up the money and they can keep their exemption.
-
I voted YES because 1) not having such a law is costing this state millions of dollars each year and 2) those that are really that against wearing a seatbelt will continue to not wear it law or no law. It does amaze me how many people forget the whole "Adult" part of the exemption, though. I've lost track of the number of times I've seen people pick their kids up at school in a pick up truck and leave without them buckled in. (Yes, I know there are people in cars who don't buckle their kids but some of these pick up truck parents have actually stated that they don't have to buckle up

I'll be there!
-
We're going to get this one sold out in the next day or two. Woohoo!
-
Don't forget West Georgia Crafts, Kyoti Originals, and Stanley Studio will both be there, too.
-
Jessica and Jaqui are both so excited. I think I've got one more, too. Have you heard from the Adirondack-style chair guy?
-
There are some great new crafters getting in on this one. I'm really looking forward to it.
-
Both classroom and behind the wheel should be required.
-
I was shocked that there was nothing about this on here before. I've been hoping to find out details myself.
-
I hope you guys have a fantastic first day at the Paulding Outdoor Market tomorrow. Good luck!
-
Jessica (soy candle gal) said she'll be by on Monday with her application and check.
-
Looks like the painter is in. She does amazing work. As she puts it, she'll paint on anything that'll sit still long enough.
-
I'm working on a few folks ... an Adironack-style chair maker ... a cookie bouquet maker ... a painter ... and a candle gal.
-
I've got a few potential crafters from other areas for this event. Y'all better hurry up or there will be no spaces left.
-
May have to make a point to get by for the pork loin.
-
I've got another one gone for you now, too.
