  1. Keep all of the sales paperwork (bill of sale and anything else) in the car at all times that it is on the road. You may get pulled over but you'll at least have that to show that you're within the time allowed. Do not put a "tag applied for" sign on the car. Get the test and any needed repairs done quickly.
  2. Lots of folks like Dr. Carter ... I don't have anything bad to say, just that our personalities don't seem to work well.
  3. I take my kids to West Atlanta Pediatrics. We all very much like Dr. Young as well as Chad (practitioner). (770) 505-3162 Most everyone there is good ... we just aren't fond of Dr. Carter. 2713 Marietta Hwy, #122, Dallas, GA 30157 Large brick building across Dallas Hwy from the car wash place / Stars & Strikes
  4. We are in the general area of where you're moving and we use and love Davis Disposal for trash service. $15/month, billed quarterly. PM for contact info.
  5. If I may ask ... who confirmed the H1N1?
  6. Wallace's BBQ on Goldmine supports the local elementary school, too. All the more reason to give them a try.
  7. Working on that right now. One way or another, it will get going.
  8. Our pediatrician said that there is a lot of flu going around ... they have it through their offices all day, every day. But they have all been "regular" flu. Also ... much of the concern over H1N1 is regarding what it could potentially be, not what it is right now.
  9. For take out Chinese, Quality Chef in the Food Lion shopping center at Hiram Sudie/Scoggins and Rte 61.
  10. They sell a Round-Up designed for poison ivy.
  11. I much prefer homemade ... but hubby is a dinner from a box kind of guy. He even prefers the Kraft spaghetti in the green box over homemade sauce. I've given up on him.
  12. Maybe it could be revisited and the funds used to help PauldingCares.org, if nobody wants to do it for something else.
  13. Hamburger Helper was a foreign concept to me until my husband asked me to get some for him. I had never had it before that. He used to like a few different ones until they apparently changed the recipes. Only one he and the boy child will eat now is Beef Pasta. I wonder how long it will be before the title gets changed?

  15. Is there a media outlet that doesn't?

  17. I always enjoy talking with the folks walking around. That and making money.
  18. Unfortunately, it is all about money at this point. When it is up and running, it is going to be a "one stop shop" for all things charitable, giving, needed, etc for the county and the immediate surrounding area, as well as national and international links ... donations, volunteer ops, free/discounted products and services ... everything in one place.
  19. I wish there wasn't the need ... that aside, I'm with you I wish there was more that I could do.
  20. This is yet another example of why I wish pauldingcares.org was up and running ... there is such a need.
  21. That's not just them. Lots of businesses have similar policies. Heck, some fool used my address for their Kroger card and Kroger won't remove it. Apparently they use my address for their driver's license, children's medical billing, and a few other things, too.
