  5. I always miss these deals on the lamb. Lamb and duck are my two favorite meats but all I seem to be able to find marked down is ground beef and chicken.
  6. OMG! Where did you get a deal like that and who do I have to kill to get the same? Grrrrrrr I'm guessing they were marked down because of the sell by date, not a sale that is still going on.
  7. Blizzard isn't just the amount. You can get 20 inches of snow and not have a blizzard. I'll believe we're getting snow when I actually see it.
  8. Unfortunately, there isn't much of a market for them. It doesn't make sense to me. I think they're pretty neat. this shows completed Ebay listings Much better tool than current listings to help you see what things are actually selling for.

  11. I would put in a wish for 12+ inches of snow (get that, snow ... no ice) but I know that this area is completely unprepared for anything like that. I miss snow.
  12. I actually think it was a good idea ... let parents know where things stand and give them time to think about their back up plans for their kids in the event schools do let out early.
  13. I'd like to see the snow totals y'all had in '93 but without the blizzard. Just a nice solid snowfall ... none of that rotten high wind, zero visibility nonsense. Not actually expecting anything like that tomorrow ... just saying.
  14. It's a terrible idea to get ride of the exam. What they need to get ride of is the corruption. Fix the actual problem.

  20. That map isn't right. It's further north. I know I said North of the Regions but I meant South ... just not that south.
  21. Tiny bit north of the regions bank, opposite side of the road. http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMT1K
  22. Where'd the other thread go? I replied in there.
  23. How do you figure shorter summer breaks are detrimental to learning? The longer summer causes retention issues. (Not to mention the boredom that ends up happen for so many kids by summer's end.) The shorter summer with more breaks during the year is better for retention and helps to avoid burnout.
  24. Longer summer break is detrimental to the learning process. Not to mention that so many kids end up totally bored before the long summer break ends. And values start at home. That's not the school's issue. (Though I do find it annoying how schools in this country do seem to be afraid to tell kids that they are wrong, not as good as everyone else, or that they failed.)
