  7. Me too. I'm also concerned about how long it will take their government to regain control of the country. They barely had control in the first place. The whole situation sucks.
  8. A quick pop in the mouth (more for shock value than pain) made our biting stage progress rather quickly. However, a little girl in my daughter's class bit my daughter the other day and left some serious markings. I'm hoping this won't result in the return of the biting stage
  9. My best friend from college went home to Sri Lanka for the Christmas holidays that year----so I had a personal connection to the tsunami. When I was in southeast Asia this past summer, I saw a lot of rebuilding. I suspect the recovery from the earthquake in Haiti will be quite slow and the building quality will be low.
  10. The Tsunami in 2004 is on the top 10 list of deadliest natural disasters with 230,000 deaths.

  12. I spent a lot of time in fraternity houses during college
  13. Heaven hath no rage like a love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned
  14. I stopped by there today on my way home from work and got one of these, because they were mentioned in this thread and I'd never had one! I also got a ton of other stuff :pig: The chocolate danishes (which are more like chocolate croissants) were awesome! (I didn't even have to warm them to get them soft like I have to do when I get them else where!) Perhaps I'll have baked goods for dinner
  15. Wouldn't an electric blanket be cheaper? And less gross?
  16. Keep an eye on this kid----the long term effects are going to be out of control!
  17. between pcom and TFLN, I know a hell of a lot about a show I've never watched!
  18. I am absolutely IN LOVE with the coconut creme cupcakes!!! I'm going to be heartbroken next month when they change cupcakes
  19. Mine started at 25, then 50....going back in March for a re-check. I feel like my energy level is higher and my weight is more controlled with it.
  20. The internet is your enemy when you are looking for things that can go wrong...I learned that when I was pregnant... I have cysts on my thyroid and researched....OMG! Turns out, they are insanely common and not a problem as long as they aren't growing!
