Ok if you smoke or not, it is a right you want taken away, most who smoke try to be considerate an not litter, ok let us go on to the drinkers, should that be taken away? I think it was tried once... ok what about the people who love choclate//// is that an addiciton, what about ice cream, cookies, the people who go thru the drive thru at fast foods every day, will that be taken away... we have rights, or we use to to do what we want with our lives, it seems now the government wants to control our lives, to what extreme, we can't smoke, we can't drink and we have to eat only certain things. I guess only the ones near her knew the real person.... she did this so others might have a chance... more research for what she had.... such valiant and brave woman..... and this has to be overseen by Michael jackson's death? Sorry, he was an icon, but she was a brave and giving woman.... the news should get their proirities in order....

Having a chip on your shoulder is no way to live, but in life there are times when you have to be a porcupine and put your quills up.

A Web Site Where People Can Communicate
cherokeewoman replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Postman - you have been around since the beginning of paulding.com, so I know of what you speak, during this time you have had many names, agendas, and personalites, but you are right, Pubby built this huge site on a start of community meetings, commissioner meetings, wanting to make a difference, I know what you are talking about..... in the early days there were a handful of posters.......you had to be there to experience it... there were hard heartfelt ,aggressive, blunt aruguments about the beginning of growth of this county..... Pubby was the source...... it has grown to masses since then -
I Just Found Out My Triglycerides Were Still High
cherokeewoman replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Postman - when I got my blood work back they gave me the results and the range... my trigyclcerides were a little high my hdl cholesterol was lower...... I guess you have to learn to read the numbers and the results.. and what they mean? they don't include that. My outcome was to go on a lowfat, low cholestral diet.... have been trying to do that and did good for a while until vacation time. Come back in 6 months for more blood work.... your medications could possbilty effect your outcome. We are alive so we are doing well. -
I read the book and it ended sadly...

So may he rest in peace.... he was not the only one passing today... Farrah Facwett.... a brave woman, always making her own way, having endurance and strength, showing others there is hope, also passed today.... sorry but her story is stronger to me. The news media have acted like Micheal Jackson was a God,President passing, so much coverage.... sure he had talent, but he was a confused person..... I send blessings to his family and also to Farrah's family, but they are making a media circus about his death? Why? Does it sell papers?

Roadside bombers and rockets.... keep them in your prayers. The 48th have already lost 3 since May, all pray for their safe return....they were also boys from Georgia....

We have always have an atttena only tv, we have a booster and have had no problems, we got converter boxes and have had no problems, we get all channels and a few more, you have to have a good antenna and possibly a bosster to get receiption... talk to someone at radio shack, they can give you details on how the antenna should be pointed. We still have good reception for free, don't need cable, so we are good.
-
Ok I am sure it helped raise them, but put your kid on a reality show so you can buy them a mansion? I don't think so. This family would have been better off if they just made it on their own and left the tv audience off them....... if they are breaking apart they can kiss the tv deal goodbye..... maybe this will be good for them....after all this this family will be on their own, no more big money for tv/cable..... they will have to make it on their own. The kids can have a normal life... it might help the family.

Well the time is here, tax assessments have been mailed out as usual for the county, how much did your property value go down, and should it have gone down more? I am sure this year everyone's property assessment went down, but was it enough? Every year we have lived here ours have gone up... this year ours went down, but was it enough? Gotta look at the property around us... how many homes are gone? There is a vacant development roads built and a sales office with windows knocked out down the road from us how much does this decuct? I knew home vaules would auto go down this year.... so how m

Some People Think Health Care Reform Won't Benefit Them
cherokeewoman replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We have good health care now... we pay a good bir, but so far we have never had anything turned down, of course we have never had a bad health care crisis. When my hubby gets to retire it will be the same depending on what insurance picks to cover them.... who knows in the future.... it is kinda of scary.. I thought there was something in effect about preexisting condiditons when changing insurance companies.... I am not sure about Obama's plan... I am not sure about any of his plans... we are all at his mercy, I do believe, for what he wants for the country. We have good coverage now
