Sleep is a good thing, everyone's sleep hours are different, everyone's sleep times are different... some work at night and they adjust... some are early birds some are night owls, a good sleep time is needed for everyone.

Tolerence of Pain? I think women handle a lot of pain so do a lot of men, each person has a different tolerence of pain. Let's talk about being sick... women aren't allowed to be sick.... I could be in bed with a high fever, think my hubby would check on me, offer me water and fever meds? Think again... The most I got from him is when I broke my knee, he would bring me food home some... Oh but if he feels bad, it is known... do I have a fever, I am nice can I get you anything?, Something to drink, you need to take some meds.... if I am sick it is nothing...he does not even acknoledge it..but

If the are going to do promotions every week to give you so much off, why not just price the wares to sell at reasonable prices? -

Communication with teachers would be great if they keep up their websites and links to learning.... a lot do not, so the parents are lost.... no books..... the teachers usually do good until the middle of Septemeber, then alas, no more data.. all that is sent home is a monthly newsletter on what is doing on in the class.... check the website.... ha ha.. I know they are busy, but parents don't have a clue on what the kids are doing.... again no books sent home except a reading book.... how can parents help? Websites only last until September, then there are no more posts... there are no books

Glad to hear you are doing well.... I would also put in my teeth to go out... that would be in my comfort zone, could leave off the make up but teeth would have to be in I think... Good to hear from you. -

Wonder how much longer that all the soaps are canned for shows that we really don't want to watch.

It seems like everyone struggles with something.... it is sad but it is called life. Sooner or later everyone has to face some sort of challanges, with jobs/ deaths/ sickness. Most of us have lost a loved one or know someone close who has, depending on your age.... Parents have faced the ups and downs the trials and tribulations of your child growing up... Then once they are grown it is not over, they still have problems they bring you, they have kids and more worrys are brought to you... You love the grandkids, but you also worry about them, it is human nature. As you age you worry also ab

I'm Here To Talk About Your Comfort Zone

Postman - we are living in our comfort zone, always have...it never mattered what the Jone's had.... we lived according to our priorities, what was important to us.... a good home, a good family, things paid for without credit... We have always had a comfortable life.... I don't have a phone that has apps, but don't want one, if I did I would get one. My comfort zone is good....I don't like to owe, I am settled in my ways, have most everything I need.... We are what we are on the inside, no matter what type of face you put on in the morning.... I like to look nice, but true being comes from -
I think to focus on myself and hubby, instead of the kids, they are grown, they should be able to take care of theirselves and their kids.... we are needed when we are needed, but we might not be available.... we will have a life....

2nd graders told there is no Santa by teacher
cherokeewoman replied to onekidmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The teacher was wrong, and probably enjoyed busting a bubble... this is up to parents not the school... Mine asked when they got older and Santa is the spirit of Christmas and you have to believe.... they still do. The teacher had no right, does she not like kids, or Christmas, or was she just a dumbass? -
No matter what type of aircraft they are flying lower now.... commerical, dobbins, they fly lower over the treetops now, and are noisy.... a lot lower than they use to. Then tunnels were a TBAR thing... and old time thing..

at what age should you tell a child about a death?
cherokeewoman replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I guess it all depends on when they start asking questions... my grandkids various ages, young, have experienced this with the passing of thier great Meemaw and one with their grandfather.... you have to answer questions per their age group.. They know they are in heaven now, for now that was a good answer.. they still ask quesitons about them and heaven.... They realize they are no longer with us, and they know they are in heaven and looking over them. -
Want a peaceful Christmas, shopping will be light this year, kids have everything... we don't need much... just want a peaceful holiday with good food and family.

Go Blue,,, what about the doctors, the er workers, the nurses, the firefighters and the police.... they all have to work Thanksgiving to protect and serve... It would be nice if we could shut down the world on the holidays... forgot the people at the airports, and the military serving... and probably some more... and to top it off my hubby will be working for free Thanksgiving cause he has to take a furlough day...... so at least these people will be getting paid for their time. Things could be worse. I guess if there were not the sick and people with diasters, and perps out stealing, and dru -
