That's an interesting method, but I don't think I'd want to blow a bunch of eggs out of their shells... and don't think people would be all that thrilled to eat them, lol. This is the method I use... works like a charm: http://www.food.com/recipe/kittencals-technique-for-perfect-easy-peel-hard-boiled-eggs-259573

I'm wondering too. They've also been in Yorkville.

Leftovers. Angel Hair pasta with meat sauce... with extra peppers, onions and garlic. Also, salad and garlic bread.

This morning there was a red one that sounded like it was landing on my house. Just now, a yellow one flew over. I wasn't in a position to hear them most of the day, so I don't know if there were more. Just curious to see if anyone has heard anything.

Brinner sounds great! We're having ham and munster pitas.

I moved out at 17. My oldest moved out the day he turned 18, which is when he moved into a dorm at Berry. He's currently 20 and no longer lives in a dorm, but has his own place with his girlfriend. He works full time and goes to school... and never asks for financial help. It's really up to the individual and how much responsibility they're willing to take on.

While I'm happy I'm not alone, I'm very sorry so many of you have sleep issues too. I can't really pinpoint a reason for mine. As far back as I can remember, I've always had a hard time going to sleep... but once I'm down, I don't want to wake up. I could easily sleep for 12 hours, then still have to force myself out of bed. My husband is opposite of me. He has no problem falling asleep, yet when he wakes up, he can't go back to sleep, even if it's 3am. There have been too many nights when I finally go to bed, I stir him, then he gets up.

I have problems going to sleep... and problems waking up. When I try to go to bed at a decent hour, I just lay there tossing and turning and rarely fall asleep before 3am. I've tried OTC sleep aids without any luck. A few years ago, a friend gave me a Lunesta. It helped a bit, but I woke up with a dry mouth and an awful taste, which lasted for several hours. I've tried slowly moving my bedtime earlier... hasn't worked. I've tried staying up all day, on 2-3 hours sleep... then I stay sleepy alllll day long, and by 8 or 9pm, I'm wide awake. I can't stand being in this constant battle with myself

I am in a constant battle with sleep issues, so I'm curious.

I feel sorry for her dog.

The programs and sign outside of the school said Christmas concert, as well. We just got home. I don't like it when they combine band and chorus... it's passed my kids' bedtime.

Here's the Chicken Pot Pie recipe that I use as a guide. It's really good. I add some diced potatoes, celery & onion... and my frozen veggies include peas, carrots, green beans and sometimes corn. http://www.food.com/recipe/chicken-dinner-pot-pie-96843 This one looks good too, but I haven't tried it yet. http://www.food.com/recipe/delicious-chicken-pot-pie-10744

Well, whatever it was that I made, everyone loved it, including my son's girlfriend who has never liked stuffing/dressing. -

Oh, I see it now in the cornbread dressing thread. My husband won't eat cornbread. I like cornbread, but I don't care for it in dressing. -

How do you do it? I've always used stovetop and just added some celery, onion & broth... so to me, not using a box seems homemade. -
I knew which commercial you were referring to, before I even clicked the thread, lol.

As much as I hate waste... toss it. You'll enjoy Thanksgiving much more if you don't have to worry about someone getting ill.

That's the only thing on my menu that I won't be cooking myself. My husband wants prime rib and I've never cooked it before. I'll ask him about it. What's pineapple casserole?
