  1. If anyone knows what's going in there, I'd really love to know too.
  2. I don't know, but it would be ideal if someone could use Dude's menu and recipes. His food was SO good.
  3. For brunch: Bacon, country ham, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits, gravy, sauteed peppers and onions, cantaloupe, grapes, pineapple & kiwi. For dinner: Pot roast with onions, carrots & celery, mashed potatoes, sharp mac & cheese, green bean casserole, gravy and biscuits. Orange creamsicle cookies and slutty brownies for dessert.
  4. I'm in Yorkville, near Southern Trace. We got power back about 30 minutes ago.
  5. My 7th and 10th graders will be taking the SAT on Saturday. Good luck to yours Greatma!
  6. I wouldn't be too concerned about the Husband's preferences. Mama needs her veggies. He can pick them out or find something else to eat.
  7. Simple meal. Tuna salad, steamed veggies and sliced apples.
  8. There are really only 2 nights a year (July 4 & NYE) when people can make some noise and get away with it. Eventually, your Grandkids will be old enough to enjoy the celebration. Until then, please try to be tolerant of those who are having some fun. I'm sure the GKids won't suffer any negative consequences from the noise this eve. Some day, you will be delighted by the smiles they get from watching the pretty lights in the sky, even if they do go BOOM. *in my best whisper voice* Happy New Year.
  9. Get exercise, even if you just walk 30 minutes a day. My Fitness Pal has been a big help for me. It's so easy to track your food intake, using their huge database of foods. It's surprising how quickly calories, fats, etc add up through the day and it really helps to see it laid out for you. In addition, you can keep a record of your exercise and calories burned. There is also a forum and there are so many groups, it's easy to find one specific to your needs. There are many "challenges" and lots of recipes, advice & support. It's also very motivational to look at the "Success Stories" f
  10. Let's not forget the legal drug dealers... Doctors without ethics, prescribing meds to anyone, whether needed or not. I've watched prescription meds take down too many people... and change people from decent human beings into thieving, lying pieces of crap that put the pills before their own children.
  11. One of the most helpful tools I've found is My Fitness Pal and it's free. You can track calories, fats, carbs, sugars, etc. In the notes section on the food diary, I record my blood glucose readings and the time, which helps to see what foods cause spikes more clearly. There is also an exercise diary. It has been extremely helpful seeing the breakdown of the foods I am consuming on a daily basis. I found out I have diabetes two months ago while I was visiting my Mother out of state. She checked my blood while I was there and it was 273, fasting. When I got home I bought my own meter and te

Are these pullover style or do they zip? Can you do a small name on the front (shirt pocket area)?
  13. I know, I was just adding my thoughts to yours.
  14. What's worse, is that the innocent people on the bike will have to live with this for the rest of their lives... and they didn't do anything wrong. I have no sympathy for the drunk who hit them and left the scene. I hope this haunts her for the rest of her life and that she passes this hard lesson on to the ones she loves.
  15. When my son and I passed by shortly after 1:00, it was on it's side.
  16. I had grilled chicken on a bed of spinach, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, cucumber, feta cheese & turkey bacon bits... topped with Roasted Red Pepper Vinaigrette. Healthy AND delicious!
