  2. The actual name of the book is "Am I Alive? A Surviving Flight Attendant's Struggle and Inspiring Triumph over Tragedy", written by flight attendant Sandy Purl. I read it years ago....a very fascinating book. It took her years of therapy to board a plane again. She actually came back to Paulding Co about a year and a half ago to speak on the subject and give an account of her experiences. I remember one passage of her book saying that many survivors had severe foot injuries (severe burns, lacerations, etc) because in those days passengers were instructed to remove their shoes before an em

  7. I bought a frozen turkey on Saturday, brought it home at 2pm and put it in the sink. I had planned to put it in the fridge in just a little bit but there was a bunch of chaos so I forgot. It was early Sunday morning before I saw it so I put it in the fridge immediately. Did I screw up?? It still felt very very cold and Im sure it was still at least partially frozen in the middle but now I'm scared. Should I toss it and go buy another? I'd hate to do that but I would if I had to.
