Prayers said for this beautiful child. I can personally attest to the power of prayer: Back in September my grandson was in Scottish Rite with complications from pneumonia directly related to swine flu. His recovery is most certainly attributed to answered prayers - many of which came from pcom members. -

So many things... I'd like to be more of a neat freak and less a slob. I'd like to be more of a listener. I'd like to have completed more of my education when I had the chance. I'd like to have not wasted so much time on my first marriage. I'd like to appreciate more and want less.

Oh. My. God!! I will clean out every closet/cabinet/drawer/room in my house and throw away anything I haven't used in the last 6 months! I have never seen anything like that in my life! I think I may need therapy.

Doctors at Egleston told me that Gatorade (at room temperature is best) will work like pedialite and doesn't have to be digested. In other words, electrolytes are absorbed directly into the bloodstream even if he can't hold it down for long. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Put it in the crockpot with some dried great northern beans. Serve with some sweet onion chopped up in them, some chow-chow on the side, and a big ol' hunk of cornbread. Oh - and be sure to wash it all down with a big glass of sweet iced tea. Absolutely my favorite meal.

I'll be cooking collards, black-eyed peas seasoned with smoked hog jowl, home-made macaroni & cheese, stewed yellow squash & onions and a big ol' pan of cornbread........and for dessert: banana pudding.

Our vet told my Mom to give her tiny toy poodle a baby aspirin. She fought it too, until we hid it in a dab of peanut butter. That did the trick and she lapped it up. From then on, peanut butter became her favorite treat. Every dog we've ever had loved peanut butter and we always hide their medicine in it.
