Mine is similar to NG's, lol. 1 big can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup 1 c all purpose flour 1 c sugar 3/4 c milk 1 stick of butter Preheat oven to 375. While oven is preheating, melt butter in a 13x9 glass dish. Mix flour and sugar, then add the milk. Pour flour mixture over the melted butter, then spoon the peaches evenly over the butter and flour mixture. Pour the syrup evenly over all of it. Bake fro 30-45 minutes. (I think it is closer to 45)

Key Largo to Key West is about 2 1/2 hours or more. Miami to Key West is just over 3 hours, and Key Largo is a short drive south of Miami.

Yes, down there you need to go flats fishing. When we went there was a nasty storm that moved in and churned up the water so we weren't able to go. But we did enjoy ourselves otherwise. My husband grew up in Miami (was there when Castro released the prisoners) and his grandmother lived in Key Largo. He spent his childhood summers in Pennekamp.

Hon, I am so sorry. If its any consolation, you are doing the right thing.

Good, lol. I have driven through Key Largo and it is pretty. My cousin lives there and she loves it. Key Largo at least has some beaches. The beach at Key West has pine trees and lots of rocks.

It is pouring here! We got it bad earlier, too. Had dime sized hail.

^^+10000 I would go to Key Largo. ETA: I have nothing agains Key West. Actually, I LOVE Key West and it is one of my favorite places to go. But I would not take any kids there. Actually, I wouldn't take anyone under the age of 21 there. Maybe 18, but prolly not. For any younger there are just way, way too many things to explain.

Awww, congrats!!! I was due May 29th, but the same thing happened to me just almost three weeks early. BabyB was born on May 12th via C section after laboring forever and only getting to 4. I love that head full of red hair she has!!

Ooops. Scratch the Riverfront Nights. I just realized that is late summer. It starts in August.

The park that momof3 is talking about is Coolidge Park. I love that park - and it is FREE! The kids can get in their swimsuits and play in the foutain. I would also suggest the museum Guard Dad mentioned. My BFF had her son's bday party there, and kids love it! As for the park, you can get to it by going across the river to Frazier Ave. That part of town is known as North Chatt, or the North Shore area. Frazier is very short and there are some really neat shops, art galleries and eateries. You can drive across one of the bridges or walk across the Walnut Street Bridge. If you do that, you

Yea, it was about like what Creative One said here, too. Grrr.

Everyone had such a good sounding dinner! Yum! We had "gorditas" and refried beans. It was an Old El Paso Gordita kit from my stockpile. I am uninspired lately. I usually am when I have weight to lose and it is hot outside.

Well, I really don care how old a store is. The people there are just rude. Cashiers NEVER say, "hi, how are you?", they don't usually say anything to me, actually. One of my last visits ever to Hiram WM resulted in a very trashy, meth head looking lady and her four barefoot and dirty kids with a Cart full of groceries nearly knock me down when I was VERY pregnant to get to the only empty self checkout. I had four items. The last straw was when I went in to buy O'Douls (non alcoholic beer) while very pregnant. The cashier made a huge deal about, and told me it was illegal for pregnant women to

Who knows, who cares. That WalMart in Hiram needs to die a firey death. I was just describing it to my mother as the White Trash Castle of White Trash Land. I.hate.WalMart. Especially that one.

There is a LOT of help at the RaceTrack on South Cobb Drive on the Delk Rd end. It is near Booth Rd, just past Austell. When I say a LOT, I mean tons. All day they are there.

The guy I saw didn't specialize in feet, I don't think. But, IDK.

It's always been like that in SC... we go to the Ashville, NC area several times a year to visit friends and we always stop in SC for gas. As soon as we cross into the state and again on the way back before we cross into GA.

It was Charlie's Angel, I know for sure. IDK about the other one - MrsG maybe??

I think my grandma always used very diluted Dawn. But, other than that IDK. I can't grow weeds.
