  1. My husband took me to lunch there last week, I work right down the road. I am not a huge BBQ fan, but that was the best BBQ I have EVER had. THey are closed on Mondays and I was really craving it for lunch today.

    YAY!

Now its gone again. But, if you still click the place it used to be it'll take you to the recent topics.
  3. I love Pantene shampoo, and I usually use Infusium conditioner. I have highlighted hair and Pantene helps keep the volume (I have really thin hair) and Infusium keeps the smoothness & texture, while keeping split ends at bay.
  4. For some reason, when I saw this pic, this song popped into my head: We represent the lollipop kids, the lollipop kids, the lollipop kids.... Their legs look so funny LOL
  5. I agree with NC-17 and the others on this. In addition, I think it will scare off new members. I think that as a newbie, some might be afraid to post or join in on thread as it is. I know I was at first b/c I was new and didn't want to tick anyone off to begin with at the very least, but mostly because no one really knew me. I know I don't have many posts as it is, but I have been here long enough now to know that it will turn into a bad thing for the site, either by deterring new people from the site or making current members leave. (If I am understanding this correctly). Besides, every
  6. just laughing at this whole thread... I, too, am tired of the polls.
  7. They are all over. I hear them all the time in the woods behind my house howling. I hate it when they're back there - my big dog just about goes nuts. And, I even had one dart in front of my jeep last year on 120 in front of Dallas Dodge. They creep me out. I hate to take the dogs out at night.
  8. LOL I was sooooooooooooo in love with Luke Perry in a "90210 way"... I was going to marry him one day lol. I totally forgot about Ryan Phillipe.... he's sa hottie. Your post also reminded me of Marlon Brando (young), esp. in Street Car Named Desire. And, Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke. They were so hot
  9. Yes, of course! We have three each, actually. Mine are: Keanu Reeves Matthew McConaughey Robert Pattinson (even if he is 5 years younger than me) I can't recall my husband's, though.... ETA - Actually, one of my husband's is in the post above mine.
  10. My husband and I like AJs for oysters, etc. On the top deck they have a bar, usually with live music and it overlooks the water. Also, when my in-laws still lived down there they took us to the best italian restaurant ever. It's called Tradewinds, and it's across the bridge in Niceville. It is absolutely out of this world! If you go, don't be suprised b/c it really is a hole in the wall type place. But you must make reservations from what I understand b/c they are always packed. It is so good! Also, Sandestin has quite a few places like Acme Oyster House among other places at the Baytown W

    AAHH!

I can't get the article, but I used to be a huge Dr. Pepper addict. I stopped drinking all sodas when I realized that the majority my daily intake of calories was coming from the drinks. It was way too many calories for me in one day. I had gained about 25lbs more than my normal and decided to stop all together to help me loose weight. Now, I can't drink them at all. If I crave one, I can only drink a little of it and I'm done. All I drink now is water, and I drink 64oz a day. You'll get used to it, and eventually when you are thirsty you will find that water is the only thing that will quench
  12. Some may not have a choice. When I was growing up no one in my neighborhood gave out candy. We always went to my grandparents' neighborhoods. We usually have a ton of kids, but this year we had 10-15. I have so much candy left over. The kids were all polite. The only thing that annoyed me was one of my neighbors had his porch light on (he never has his porch light on) but when the kids rang the bell he came to the door mad and told them he didn't celebrate Halloween. That's fine, but turn off your light.
  13. I love the new site. I was thrown off on Saturday when I was viewing it from my phone. The mobile version is different and it took me a while to find my way around. But, I love it b/c it is a lot faster on my phone now.
  14. help.... Please..... I am so confused. Maybe it's cause I'm on my phone???
  15. I saw that, too! It threw me off a bit!
  16. That would be silly, dontcha think?? Was it flying on a broom?
  17. Do you think everyone wants a pumpkin thrown at their heads if they ring my bell for candy tonight?
  18. LOL - that's so funny. Especially 'cause we know in real life that'd never happen!
  19. My prayers for your family!
  20. I've never heard of those shows - I may need to check those out! Thanks for the heads up.
