  1. That's what I was going to say.... Please don't remind me that Christmas is almost here.... ugggg.
  2. Sorry - I didn't see this yesterday. Here's a link to, yes, the Americal Cornhole Association. LOL - I had no idea this even existed until just now. This is too funny. The rules and description of the game are on the website. My husband and I love this game. http://www.playcornhole.org/rules.shtml Also, another idea I had was sack races. A little old school but we do this at our family reunions and I still think its fun as an adult.
  3. LOL - me too! Congrats!
  4. Corn hole is fun if you can find some boards. (I know - bad name but it's a fun game. In Houston I heard they call it tailgate toss).
  5. Best place I have been to is in the ATL/Smyrna area off 285. It's a bit of a drive from Pauling, but the place is called Polished. The prices are about the same as the good places in Hiram. They did the best job on my toes than anywhere else I have been, and it was sooooo relaxing! I can't find a website, but here's a link to a site w/reviews: http://atlanta.citysearch.com/profile/4529...uty_lounge.html ETA: PS - They are super, super clean. Everything they use is either brand new or sterilized and sealed and it is all unwrapped in front of you.
  6. Are these cat paws or dog paws? I think of a big not-so-happy-looking cartoon lion holding a trash can with one paw and a trash can lid with the other paw, about to smash the lid on the can of "drugs". (Sorry - in JH & HS we decorated our door every year for one theme or another, and we were the Lions so that is what I automatically think of)
  7. Gotcha - that makes sense now that I just realized that you posted the same time that the 2nd alert came thru. I just saw in the other thread that CPL Gurley noted that he has not been found.
  8. Freebird - where do you see that it is no longer valid? I clicked the link, but it says that the alert was sent out for the second time at 1:08 for a larger area.... Am I doing something wrong?
  9. That's what I was going to say! I still love that movie - it's one of my favorites!
  10. I know Tommy from some of his hang outs around Hiram. I just saw the Nixle alert and I called my husband so he'll be on the look out on the way home. He is also calling a couple of our friends that know Tommy as well, so they know to keep an eye out. I really hope he is found safe soon.
  11. Yeah. That's what the hubbs says He cracks me up sometimes!
  12. Charleston is nice Ashville is really pretty & the Biltmore is interesting. (I know you said that it has already been mentioned and nixed, though I promise it's not snooty in Asheville-if you ask MrB "it's full of hippies".) Flat Rock, NC is nice, too. It's in the mountains and very, very small. There are some B&Bs there, and it's not far at all from Hendersonville, NC to go out for lunch, dinner, etc. There's some really neat shops there, and a good friend of mine has an art gallery there, too. Destin, FL is nice and Sandestin Resort is fun. It's only about 5 hours from
  13. This just breaks my heart. I hate it when I hear about this because it rarely has a good ending. She and her family are in my prayers.
  14. Yep, me too! Just can't always respond to a pm.
  15. Sorry - I just did a search to see if I could find a thread that tells you how to post the video instead of a link and saw this has already been posted about 3 times.
  16. This is histerical...a little long but I almost peed myself from laughing so hard. oops. Well, I tired to embed it and it obviously didn't work. Here's the link to you tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzY5i4A1zgA
  17. I am sooooo tired I may pick up a pizza on my way home. Or, I may save the money and get the stuff to make stromboli. What I really want for dinner is sleep.
  18. Dave Mathews in the summer of 1997 or 1998 in Antioch, TN was a good one... At Music Midtown back in 2001 or 2002, or maybe even 2003 (I can't remember anything!) MrB and I stumbled upon Kid Rock. It was great! I had just had a panic attack at the Miller Light stage watching Bush because so many people were all up on me so he was getting me away from the crowd. We were actually really suprised and completey forgot he was going to be there.
  19. LOL - what she said! Seriously, though, don't go alone and/or carry protection of some sort.
  20. I would love too! I did just turn the heat on, though. Tried to wait, but I am FREEZING! I think a nice fire would be nice on Sunday, since we'll be gone tomorrow.
