    Wii fit

I got the Wii & Wii Fit Plus for Christmas, and I can't wait to try the Wii Fit Plus. I have played Wii Sports, and the tennis is so fun... until I hit MrB while playing, so he hasn't been too willing to play again lol. I played tennis all through jr. high & high school, so I got really into it - I love tennis. Now my problem is trying to break away from Super Mario Bros. Ugg... that game is so fun & addicting. I will get the Wii Fit out this week, though.
  2. MCMM - You're dogs are cute! I wish I had pics of mine in the snow. One had never seen it before yesterday, and it was the funniest thing. He kept trying to get away from it while it was coming down, but everytime he moved it was still coming at him, of course. He had me laughing so hard. After he realized he couldn't get away from it he started to bark at it. He is such a crazy dog.
  3. Pot, or having soup when you have the munchies after a little smoke? Just kidding!
  4. I'm only 29 and I have times like this. One minute I want to rip someone's head off, then cry the next. I think it may be the weather. Being cold stresses me out. I am sure MrB gets stressed at these moments in time, too. I hope you feel better soon. Take a long hot bath with a glass (or a bottle ) of wine and that might help.
  5. Just like the rest, I too thought this was about pot. I thought you were going to let us all know you were a pot head. LOL. But, now that I know what this is about, I need your address so I can come over for dinner tonight j/k That sounds sooooo good. I have a feeling MrB and my brother will ask for white chili this weekend, so that is probably what we are having at my house tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday. Edited b/c I can't type worth a crap this morning.
  6. LPPT, I thought about your thread this morning when I went to start my car. I slid on the ice in my driveway, and caught myself just before busting my butt on the ground. All b/c I was trying to open the car door, which was frozen shut. Then I couldn't get get out of my neighborhood b/c the hill was a solid sheet of ice. No getting up it for a bit. So, I got to cuddle with the hubs this morning for a little while longer
  7. My neighborhood is at the bottom of a hill, too. I couldn't get out.. I tried, and then ended up sliding into the grass. So, I went home. I didn't get in until 10. The roads are still BAD! 278 from the new Race Trak to Jimmy D. Sailors is solid ice. Poweder Springs Rd. is only slightly better. I had to come to work, though, and it scared me to death. MrB gets to stay home today.
  8. oooohhh Lumak... you should have invited me over! That would have helped with the finger I sliced instead of the bread. We had roast beef sandwiches on crusty french bread, provolone cheese, with a creamy horsradish sauce. Baked in the oven so nice and hot and cheese melted. We had fries on the side. It would have been better if my finger didn't hurt.
  9. Sorry about that. My brother was bit on the leg by what they think was a brown recluse. It was soooo nasty. The meds he was on wouldn't let him sleep, so he drove everyone crazy b/c he was so tired. He'd talk non-stop for hours about nothing. actually, looking back it's kind of funny. Since you didn't ask that, sorry. His took a couple of months to go away. And he actually got treatment within a day of the bite.
  10. Awww.. CE your kiddos are so cute! They have the cutest smiles! I think I have seen it, but not with the stuff - I am pretty sure I know where you are talking about. I am not downtown Dallas very often.
  11. Where is that? Does someone put stuff like that there often?
  12. Okay. Now it is snowing pretty heavy here, too. It has been for about 15 minutes and it's sticking.
  13. It's snowing in Marietta/Smyrna area now. I don't think it is sticking, though. Guess we will see... And it stopped while I typed that
  14. I'm in Marietta, near Smyrna off South Cobb Dr. It kind of flurried for a minute... and then it stopped. That was about half an hour ago. That is all.
  15. I just talked to a friend in Chattanooga. She said that it is snowing hard and fast there, and sticking. It started about 15 minutes ago. While we were on the phone, she said her deck, yard, and road had quite a bit accumulated.
  16. Then I am fairly certain that we may have either met in person in passing while there, or at least have seen each other. MrB and another friend from there would play when they first started the tournement, but stopped after a couple of weeks. We are regulars there. Well... were I guess. We haven't been in about two months, but prior to that we were there a lot. I believe it began in Ohio at OSU games while tailgating. I think. I may be wrong. No matter who thought of the name, it is a really fun game. Especialy when drinking and cooking out. Or, at a bar on Wed night getting plastered wh
  17. Been, there, done that. And it usually involves BWW. Although, we haven't been in a while. But it so much fun, isn't it? But it does suck the enxt day. I hope you feel better! Drink lots of coffee.
  18. Never mind. I found the thread and the person I was looking for. Thanks
  19. I mis-spoke. SHE will not got get taxed directly, but her insurance provider will. In turn, they will pass along the costs associated to the employer, who will in turn lower her benefits to save money. I think that is correct... Here is a link to an article about it. http://business.theatlantic.com/2009/12/who_will_be_paying_the_cadillac_tax.php
  20. I am not sure if this is the right thread... I think there were three about this house fire, but I can only find two. There was another one where someone posted things that the family needs, some being school supplies. I can't find that one, and I can't remember the poster that was telling us what they needed.... Can someone please help? lol - I can't navigate with my frozen hands today obviously. I need either that thread or if someone remembers the poster - it started with an "A" i think...
  21. Hi Ladies! I wish you much success! I didn't read the entire thread, but: LADY RAIDER - If you are ever in the area, stop in at Harry's in Marietta on Roswell Road. They often have the large bottles of Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil for $8.99. That is a steal since those are about $20-$25 at the reg. store. From what I understand, EV is healthier for you than reg. olive oil. Also, I only use canola oil (for the same reason)instead of veg. oil and EVOO. I also noticed TwoKidsandaBun's post, and she is right. I just wanted to share with you about my best friend (for 15 years). When we g
