I hope you feel better! Have I been reading through this and other threads that you are trying to lose weight, quite smoking, and caffeine? Good lawd lady! LOL - Your body might be going inot shock! I really do hope you feel better, though. I still wish you luck, too

As soon as I read your post about the Paulding Girl, I knew it was going to be Kara. She has a beautiful voice. And her family is very talented!

I am hungry and don't have a clue. The hubbs has a business dinner tonight so I may be having cereal. But I need some ideas for the rest of this week.

I was going to say if you can't figure out what else to do with them, you could fry some up and make me a po'boy. I can be at your place to pick it up by 6 if you send me directions. Just kidding - I do love oysters, though. Anyway you give them to me, I'll eat. They are best fresh and raw, on a cracker topped with a bit of horsradish and ketchup (not prepared cocktail for, me thanks).

This happened to my cousin when he was divorcing his wife. It involved both his children, and it took a long time but she finally admitted she lied. It was terrible and heartbreaking. He finally has a great relationship with both of his children, but now his ex-wife is very ill. He is now the one that takes care of her since their children will have nothing to do with her for what she did. It is so, so sad when this happens.

I don't know why you would be made fun of. I don't even have kids, and I check the data base for sex offenders on a regular basis. If I have one near me, I want to know about it.

I don't disagree with this. I understand they are losing money, and have to make it up somehow. And honestly, my husband and I fly several times a year and i wouldnot mind to pay the fee to check my bag. The problem is that so many other people do not want to pay the fee, so they take too many bags on the flight with them. Ours, too. We always and only fly Delta. Never had a problem. Always great service.

Now, what gave you that idea?? lol
-
Exactly. I would like to know who these sickos are.

If he was in the AT&T store, I doubt he planned to stay long. Even still, I would not want to leave any valuables in my car in my driveway let a lone downtown Atlanta.

If you checked it b/c the bins were full, then I'd def. get the charge taken off. Their employee told you that the bins were full, so you didn't have a choice. That is why I hate these fees. No no one wants to check luggage, so they are bringing too many and oversized bags. By the time you board the bins are full.
-
Not really. They were the same two bags we flew out of ATL with as carry-ons.. Had no problem to or from Vegas, MIami, or Houston. It was just a cranky airport security lady in Philly. I have seen it done to other people though, but those bags WERE too big.
-
Unless they will not let you take it thru security. This happened to my husband and I in Philly earlier this year. We had to go all the way back to check in and check our bags. We had one each plus my purse, but the security attendent said they were oversized. Did they make you check it b/c there was no room in the cabin b/c other people had bags that were over the legal size, or had brought too many? That happened to me once so they had to check it since there was no room in the overhead bins.

I so would have done the same thing. Yes, sorry for the hijack. I will stop now

Yes, MrB and I both have one. Mine is a blue enamled pottery type mug that was once part of a set of my favorite blue dishes. I have had two fo them for years. MrB has two; one is a mug that he thought looked cool at Goodwill he picked up for 0.25, and the other is a hand made mug that his best friend (a potter) made. It is his "Beer with Grandad" mug. His best friend is from England, so all of his family other than his brother and parents, still live over there. His grandfather past away several years ago, so he made a mug for my husband, his brother, and his father since they were the only o

Thanks Mr.Dis. Wow - I thought I was mean to my little brother when we were kids. LOL. I think I just poured water over his head a couple of times, and once I told him our parents adopted him b/c they felt sorry for him since his real parents left him in a gutter b/c he was such a terrible baby. I think he was about 5 when I told him that. Isn't that terrible?

Is this anywhere on the news? I know WB said he saw it on Fox 11, but I couldn't find it on their website. I work just down the road from there, too.

ahhh ... Edward Norton. I think he is so hot. LOL - I bet anything with him is good!

That show grosses me out, but yet, like a train wreck, I can't not watch. I cannot comprehend the reasoning behind letting your house get like that. I am sure that my house may have a pile here or there, but I honestly cannont stand clutter. If I haven't used something in the past year, chances are I am not going to in the next, so off to Goodwill it goes.

Have you seen 300 yet? Not terribly new, but I loved it. I don't know that I'd let the kiddos watch it, though. Also, another great movie is Crash. It's not new either, but it is sooooo good.

Those things are creepy, KRM.. IMO, anyway. Have you ever heard one? They sound like a lady in the distance screaming, "Help!" So, so creepy. That is all. I just wanted to say that about creepy peacocks.

Your links don't work... what should I google?

I don't guess Mr Rodgers lives in that 'hood. LOL - it's cracking me up, though!

My great grandmother had two recipes, one of which my grandmother made, my mom made, and now I make. It's the only way I can eat it. MrB alwasy know s when we are having veggie beef soup - the day after pot roast. I always make pot roast in the crock pot with the carrots, onion, potatioes. There is always left over beef. Also, times were always tight for my great grandma and grandma and nothing went to waste. Ever. So any leftover vegetables were put into the veggie bowl and left in the freezer to await veggie soup day. (There was a bowl in the freezer that stayed there, and all the leftov
