So, I don't know famous people, the top 40, or toys for kids anymore... Am I getting old? I have no idea what this is... I think I will google it, though.
-
It (obviously) has been talked about much on here. I have not posted about what I may or may not do to help. I am sure my husband I will do something, but what, I don't know. I am a very charitable person IRL, but I do not discuss it on here b/c I don't do it to make myself feel better or look better to others. I do what I can when I can. We will probably send money to the Red Cross, but it does no good to discuss it over and over again. I agree 100% with what CarolineElizabeth has said as well. I feel the same way. ETA: It's a little idiotic to assume that becuase we aren't all

That is wonderful advice! Happy Anniversary! 37 years is a big deal!!

Get better soon, SS! I don't know about you, but I'm a big ol' baby when I get sick. Well, if you ask MrB, I'm a big ol' *itch when I am sick. I hope you aren't!! Sending good vibes your way!

Thank you. I needed that.

This statement is so true. We live in a society where so many younger people - my age group, as this applies to a lot of my friends - know more about what happens on TMZ or Entertainment Tonight than in the news. Most of my friends know very little of what goes on in government but voted they way they did and still stand by the choice oblivious to what is going on or why they did it to begin with. Danny Glover is crazy. This statement is absurd.

Got to work.

Thanks for reminding me about this. I wanted to see this so bad and I forgot about it. Do you like to read? If you do I suggest you read The Book Thief and Sarah's Key. The Book Thief is classified as a Young Adult novel, though I didn't know that when I got it. It is such a great book - one that you will think about after you read it. Same as Sarah's Key. I cried when I was done with both of them. ETA: Sarah's Key isn't a YA novel. Even though The Book THief is, it is still really, really good and I suggest it to any adult.

Taki is our favorite! Never had bad there, and the ginger salad dressing is really good. It's better than Hai Hai's. Ummm... thanks. I must have Taki tonight for dinner now!

Unless you like dog balls

That sounds good... Does it take care of the acidity or sourness? Everyone in my family can eat grapefruit but me. It's like sour to the hundreth power to me. That's why I have to use all the sugar But, I LOVE the smell of grapefruit. Go figure.

Thank you, KRM. I know this wasn't intended for me, but I love, love, love feta cheese. This sounds so good! I will have to try this. You could do a cordon (sp??) bleu. Use swiss cheese and ham.

The only one I have that I can remember off the top of my head is the one you gave me It was for the stromboli (eaten at least once a week at my house if not twice)
-
Wow.. that is amazing. And a perfect example of why I will never live north of the Mason Dixon line
-
So cute and so true!!
-
I always cut mine in half, and then pour tons of sugar on it. Which of course defeats the purpose of eating grapefruit to begin with. But, that's they way I eat it, otherwise I wouldn't be able to touch it. So, I don't think it's strange the way you eat it. To each his own.

I was looking for video, but I just found this: http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/01/14/haiti.updates/index.html?hpt=T2 Poor baby She must be so scared. -
What is everyone having?? We are probably going to be having left over pizza or left over white chili (chicken chili) from last Saturday that I have in the freezer. I have been sick, so not really feeling like cooking this week. Or eating for that matter.

LOL maybe that is what my brother needs - to get engaged. But, right now beer pong is more important than finding a girl to even date. I didn't really see much change in my husband when we got engaged, but I did when his friends did.
-
That has happened to me before but it was while browsing from my iPhone.
-
You said it so much better than I could have - that is exactly what I wanted to say. But, at the same time, it doesn sadden me that one would feel this way.

This is so sick... I do have to agree with Nature Girl on this. In every profession there in always a bad apple.
