Ill have you know, I never, ever, walk into Target and not think about Fryin'.

It was the date that forever cemented my fear of black trash bags. :shudders: But it was so much fun! I honestly can't remember, but I *think* it was Rockymom, KRM, Solo, and Wenfen (WendysPetSitting then) all at once. Of not them it was Creative One at the shelter. Truth. See my post. Lol

This. It's very, very strange.

^* These. I bought a $99 Singer when I started, and it was a piece of junk. Thankfully Joann took it back and I ordered a Singer Stylist. It has a lot of stitch options, but I only use 3-4 of them. I got it because it came with a lot of feet, some of which can cost up to $20 individually. I love it! I don't know of free classes, but I taught myself via YouTube. I did take a class at Ashby and it was reasonable. It really just takes practice.

I'm so glad everyone said that. I couldn't even pay much attention to the baby because mom looks so good! What the heck?! That's so not fair! I also had a c-section, but it was after many hours of labor, so I looked like Hell. Congrats to all of you!!! It's do wonderful and exciting and just beautiful to have a new little life in the world. cherish this time, for it'll be gone too soon.

We're having spaghetti with a bolognese I have made from scratch and it has been simmering all day. We are are having garlic rolls, also made from scratch. The dough is rising now... I'm not a democrat, that is why my meal is from scratch: I do it myself. (NJ, I have no idea what this has to do with politics, either, but I thought I'd throw that out there. ) -
Too bad she can't stop at Fred's and get y'all a canned ham to share...

I hate (I mean loathe) anything celebrity related. I just.dont.care. However, this is different. It's the royal family!

Lord I'm a dork. I just watched them leaving and I got all teary eyed.

I think they are both handsome. When I was little I wanted to grow up and marry Prince William.

LOL "Who do you think you are? The queen of England?" "Yes."

Sweet! I have a big butcher knife that I use to karate chop that squash. Once it's in there, I pick it up and slam it a few times (by the ha doe of the knife) and it opens. So, I know what you mean. I've got a super nice set of knives; my mil would cringe. Also, ill be making thus very soon!

Hahaha!!! Meeeee tooooo.... Miss Sophie, I giggled at "knife or cleaver", LOL. And then again at "slice". Have the people that made this recipe it open one of hose suckers??? Lol I do love spaghetti squash, and I am going to try this... Did you like it?

Truth! She is absolutely right! No, we don't always agree politically, but we are are equally witty and and awesome (especially in the kitchen!) and ill e the company! And yes, I agree. I would love to go soon! It's been either too rainy or too hot to do much of anything outside with him.

Yup.

No. A paper mill smells bad inside, too. I shudder when I think of the smell, it is sooooooooo bad. They are mostly in Savannah. But you get used to the smell.

I make this often for babyB (I hide it with spaghetti noodles so he doesn't know he's getting his veggies!) I cut it in half (which takes 100 years and a lot of sweat and tears) and cook half of it. The other half I remove th seeds and place in a Ziploc. It to stay good in the crisper for about 7 days. It's good stuff!

Oh my... Is Lady Raider getting the Hell Hole cleaned out?

Thanks, Tabby! When I left a position for another company years ago, I left with the realization that I would go to a tech/trade school given another opportunity at school. In Augusta there are a lot of plants and mills and they were hard pressed to fi d skilled labor. There was a tech school there, and graduates were snatched up. And they made bank.

Omg I am still stuffed.... I took my mom and BabyB up there today for dinner. Yummmm.... Mom had pistichio with grilled veggies and Greek potatoes, I had souvlaki with Greek potatoes, BabyB had kids' chicken fingers, and we took MrB a French dip. My mother grew up in Greece and we LOVE Greek food. It was very, very good. We got all of that plus a slice of cake and baklava to bring home, AND they brought us spanakopita with tzatziki, chips and hummus, and some kind of dish served over rice for FREE. Our bill was $60. The amount of food we had left over is ridiculous. Ill be eating it tomorrow

MrsB replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think that is sad. OMG the SNAKES!! I'm scared to death to go to White Oak! I'm SOOOOO glad they put those signs up - there is no price on safety! Ill stick to he other areas of the county where snakes don't live. -
