  1. What is this thing? Is it a reinactment? Where is Benson Rd? And what is the town of YNOT? sorry, I'm confused...
  2. I don't blame you for being proactive. I have ulcerative colitis, so I would be, too. This stuff is no fun.
  3. I have started seeing Dr. Grupka and I really like him. He is in Hiram at the physicians bldg at Bill Carruth and 278 a day or two a week. Here's his info: http://www.wellstar.org/physicians/pages/physician-profile.aspx?pid=5c84bc82-9ac6-411b-9075-073d8aabaf18 He's personable and thorough. I like him *much* better than my last GI dr.
  4. I don't know why people care so much. There are so many more important things going on in the world than Miley and her antics. Who cares??
  5. Easy tonight. Hamburger Helper, canned green beans, yeast rolls. It's the first time in years I've made Hamburger Helper... But I didn't get to the store until late and needed something quick to fix. At least I got my dough started for my quick sourdough bread ill be making tomorrow. To serve up, piping hot and homemade, along with chicken and noodles (pioneer woman recipe). Nom nom nom can't wait to eat tomorrow.
  6. The people I agree with in this thread is blowing my mind. Lol This. I'm tired of being the police of the world. If Ron Paul were president we wouldn't be having this discussion, I don't think.
  7. Not to mention, we will be fighting on the side of Al Qaeda. DGITW, where is the Prepper con, and how do I get info? And, wanna go? Lol
  8. This really has more to do with money and gas than anything. We don't know if Assad used chemical weapons, do we? Why are our politicians so quick to go to war? Obama is taking us to Hell in a hand basket. Syria does have something other countries want - land. Please research about the pipeline, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Even Petro Dollar. If you all think this will not lead to "boots on the ground" you are terribly niave. If we strike Syria, Russia will strike us in retaliation. And Obama, Kerry, etc know this. This is not a time to point fingers, blame parties, and on and on; this is
  9. They would buy the limit, take it to the car, and come back. These women would be waiting for the store to open with their binders of coupons.
  10. I no longer coupon, either. I got tired of having to deal with the coupon queens that bought 200 boxes of cereal at a time, etc. leaving none for anyone else. In the end, it wasn't worth my time. We also eat a lot healthier than we used to, and q's are usually for processed, high fructose corn syrup-y junk food. So, I am actually glad they are doing this.
  11. This. And I'd rather see that amount of money going toward things. Such as text books for the students. I don't agree with this at all. Back ground checks can be performed other ways, maybe just with a waiting period. I had to before I could even begin my internship in the school system. It was mailed off, thought I can't remember what costs were incurred. But I am pretty sure I paid for it.
  12. I think the little spikey things do, but not then whole thing Stradial has... I may be wrong, though.
  13. I don't think they are supposed to be put in a vase.
  14. I know me, too. And 1Novella... And PsycoMom
  15. I know! I was thinking about Jack Reacher's comment about the poster who ties cherry stems in knots with her tongue not having any arms! it is still funny 4 years later! I know. it made me sad. I miss so many of these folks and several I'd forgotten about. But I still LOL'd at this whole thing.
  16. This thread is still funny... LOL almost 4 years later...
  17. Hey Papi!!! CONGRATS!!!!! I quit smoking on January 20. 2013. And every single day, I want to effing smoke an effing cigarette. Every.single.day. Every day I want to smoke. SO, with that, I want to say I understand, and I applaud you!!!!!! CONGRATS!!! You, my friend, have done an excellent job, and it's not a feat to go unnoticed (ehem, Blondie, go git 'em).
  18. I'v read all of these, none of which were "required" reading. I have to say, the one that was required that made an impression was "Anthem" my freshman year of AP English in high school. It was one of several books, but it had an enormous impact on me. I lie; TKAMB was required reading in 8th.... But I've read it again several times. Honestly, my mother always thought there ought be "reading" as a degree.... She needed a place for her money to go... Lol

  20. Yup. Have I ever mentioned how much a dislike GA government? And the ridiculous taxes?
  21. Lol I could never go through his line; I'd et the giggles. Lol I've met so many people from here and some of them have become wonderful friends, and even our kids are friends now. Now I don't think there's many if that old group if folks left. I always wanted to go on a hunt with PyscoMom.
