  1. Yes, two and a half years ago! Lol I've been so busy ever since I haven't had time to change my avatar. LOL NO.
  2. On the Fords, no the alarm doesn't go off. When that thing slides under the key pad, it's like it resets everything or something.mit unlocks everything therefore turning the alarm off.
  3. It sucks. I am sure to NEVER leave anything in my car. A friend's husband drives an F150, and it was broken into at the Ingles in Dallas. Only he lost a bag/ briefcase full of sensitive work data.
  4. Cptlo306 is a he? I always thought he was a she.
  5. I went to Kroger this afternoon because I really was out of bread. Oh my goodness, folks. They were even out of Good for Life in the freezer I use. I had to get low sodium. Grrr.
  6. My car was broken into at that WM back in July. I have a Ford Explorer. They used a slim Jim type thing and slid it under the keypad on the drivers side door. You have to look close to see the damage. Cops say thieves love Fords because of that keypad. It's easy to slide a tool under it and unlock the whole car. Luckily I didn't have anything valuable in the car. I never shop at WM, I hate the place. Learned my lesson the hard way. Lol
  7. You're my hero. Really, you are. Also, didnt read all of the responses, but anything having to do with Facebook is just petty. I mean, really folks? Are we adults or no? Petty, petty, petty. My parents never divorced and have been together for 35 years. My husband's family is a different story, however. So listen up: don't be petty. Ignore the ex's girlfriend. Move on. If you want to spend time with/see the grand babies, it's no longer about you. It's about them. Move on. Remember that it isn't about you.
  8. Thanks, Surepip! I went ahead and tossed it in the crock pot this morning. I figured if you said it'd be bad I'd have to throw it out either way. LOL I had errands to run and am lazy and didnt want to fool with stovetop cooking it, so it's in the crock pot.
  9. My apologies; a church in Paulding usually means baptist to me. LOL I hope no one takes offense; I was raised and am Catholic.
  10. Thank you. I'm not sure about the other threads, as I haven't seen them. But thank you, and your church, for opening your doors to the community and providing a meeting place. I think it's sad you have to defend yourself and your church, though. I am not Baptist, and won't be, BUT, I can appreciate the need for space, and your church's willingness to provide it. So, again, thanks.
  11. It smells about as good as cooked chicken bones and chicken skin will smell. LOL it doesn't smell like its "turned".
  12. LOL Hush. I want me some homemade chicken noodle soup tomorrow, so I'm hoping he says it's okay. Haha! Except the noodles. I don't make those.
  13. I have a question about chicken stock. When I make a whole chicken in the crock pot, I normally "pick the bone" after dinner, save the meat, and toss the skin and bones back in the crock pot with water. Then I cook overnight for a perfect, delicious stock that goes into several containers and into the freezer the next morning. However, I've discovered I don't like to wake up at 3am smelling Boston Market. SO, here's my question. I made a chicken Thursday and poured the liquid and put the bones, etc. into a foil pan and stuck it in the fridge. If I cook this in the crock pot tomorrow, will
  14. I no longer live in Hiram, so no. Lol
  15. I don't know, but I'm sure they are. I haven't been on here in over a month and just happened to hop on otherwise I wouldn't have known, either. It says Sunday sales are on Dallas' ballot according to the article.
  16. Dallas has Sunday sales on the ballot.
  17. I wonder if his is what I smell near the Kroger at 61 and 278? It's terrible and usually in the afternoons. Anyone know what I am talking about? Why do they burn it? Why not just strip it?
  18. Footballbeerchic lent me Gone Girl and I ended up hooked on Gillian Flynn. All of her books are great, but Sharp Objects is my favorite. I couldn't put it down. I also recommend Wally Lamb's I Know This Much Is True. Hands down, best book ever. FBBC has it now but you are welcome to it when she is done if you want.
  19. Because there are very, very few threads to read on here and I was bored.
  20. Thanks!! I'd never heard of this, and on my phone I can't see anything but he actual title. No description. And I'm slow. Lol
