It can be very uncomfortable when you have an 8 lb baby moving around, kicking your ribs and pushing against your bladder, can you imagine how it would feel the last few weeks especially, carrying 16 or 23 lbs?

I don't know how you could be out in that heat. Just walking from the door to the car makes me sick. The heat didn't bother me when I was young.

I really didn't understand the "dumbass" comment either.

Well, I think if one person gets a plus or a mayberry that everyone should. After all we wouldn't want anyone's self esteem to be affected would we?

Wow! There are lots of reasons why some kids do not make it in the public school population - not just because of behavior and that they get in trouble. The GED program is better than just being a dropout. You can go on to a technical school, learn a trade and become a productive member of society. I'm sure you could eventually get a degree if you work hard enough - but that doesn't guarantee a good job nowadays.

I didn't see where you mentioned what your husband would be doing. Is there something you could do together? How old are your children? Maybe you could all do part of a well-known play together. Maybe something funny instead of serious since it is supposed to be a vacation.

Two good things that came out of my second marriage, one that I moved to Georgia and the second is that he made my two sons do chores. They did hard yard work, they cleaned their rooms and their bathroom. As adults they still do housework and of course yardwork. My son from my third marriage never does chores. My fault I know, being much older now I just don't have the energy to fight about it and I really regret not starting him when he was young. I think it makes a difference if both parents get involved in getting the whole family to participate in keeping the household in order. My s
