  1. I really hope she was lying about being HIV and that TOW will be okay and you won't have to worry about it.
  2. Sorry, I keep forgetting about people recording shows and watching them later. Hope I didn't spoil the surprise of Rachel being back.
  3. Last season is the only season I have watched and Rachel's laugh really gets on the nerves. I don't know anything about the two other couples.
  4. Season premiere - on now.
  5. I saw it on tv so it has to be true, right? Really, I saw it on the news just a little while ago. I guess I'll google it.
  6. What a great idea. I'll have to remember that.
  7. You're such a sweetheart. I didn't say that's what I was having, I was just saying it sounded good. My normal fair is chicken sauteed in olive oil with green beans or a salad with fruit for dessert. But thank you for caring. I thought of you two when I was watching Chopped on the Food Network. One of their ingredients was purple cauliflower. I wondered if you had used it since you use cauliflower a lot.
  8. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, a big salad with coconut cream pie for dessert. Now if I could just find someone to go buy all of that and then fix it for me.
  9. Mizuno baseball gloves sold at Walmart and Target since April 2010, have been recalled due to mold which could cause respiratory problems.
  10. I love Three Dog Night, listen to their greatest hits CD all the time. Also listen to Credence Clearwater Revival.
  11. It's really hard to know when to stick your nose in sometimes but you absolutely did the right thing.
  12. Allman Brothers - Ramblin Man. I saw Marshall Tucker and 38 Special, don't remember who else, in 1994 in Atlanta.
  13. I haven't had a perm in a while but when I did I used John Frieda's frizz product - it was affordable and it worked well for me. I'm sure there are newer and better products though.
  14. I've been thinking about trying this. I wake up several times a night because of fibromyalgia. My son has a very hard time getting to sleep at night and I've thought about giving it to him too.
  15. There have been some great comments on here. When my two grown sons were in school I was a single parent and had to work. I feel like they became stronger and more confident because of it. They are wonderful, strong parents now. I haven't worked since 2000 and I feel like my youngest is handicapped because of it. I think he knows that I'm always there and it's kept him from developing self confidence and being able to handle things for himself.
  16. Once again let me say I probably could never be a teacher, especially in the present time. I think it's a shame that the teachers, students and parents are all so stressed at crct time. That can't possibly make for a good learning environment - definitely would not make learning fun. Didn't they say that this has been going on for about ten years in APS? I heard an interview done with one parent that said she bought her house based on scores of a particular school in NW Atlanta. It's just a shame.

    Storms?

I started hearing rolling thunder and seeing lightning after I posted. I wondered why the dogs were fidgeting. I guess this will be going on for a while.

    Storms?

Satellite is out. Are we getting more storms?
  19. I would not be surviving this heat if a nice pcommer had not offered me two window air conditioners a couple of months ago. The house is still very warm but is tolerable.
  20. or baking soda and white vinegar, maybe wash once with bleach and fabric softener and then wash again with detergent and baking soda and put white vinegar in softener dispenser. If you have a little swimming pool pump with a long hose maybe that would work to get the water out.
  21. As good as it gets. "I followed all the rules, man's and God's, and you followed none of them. And they all loved you more, Samuel, Father and even my own wife."
