Good for you! I was at Home Depot with my son the other day and there were two men blocking an aisle, they didn't have a cart or anything, they were just standing there and they saw me trying to get by but they would not move. I thought my son was going to knock one of them over. Why are people so rude???

Just finished watching the series finale of Law & Order - Criminal Intent. I'm sure there will be plenty of repeats shown but no more new shows.

Not really sure why another thread was started on this topic when it's obvious people are not going to see eye-to-eye. I wish Ms. Jessie well, hope she makes a complete recovery and finds a safer place to do her preaching if she feels the need to do so.

We lived there for 5 years and only left because my husband was offered a job in Florida, but we moved back to Georgia a year later. My son went to elementary there and played a lot of sports. We loved the Methodist Church right there in town. The only problem at the time was having to go to Gainesville, Dawsonville or Cleveland if you wanted a grocery other than Walmart, not sure if that is still true.

We lost my mil on May 23. She had been in the hospital on several occasions over the last few years and we all just assumed that she would be there a few days like always and then get to go home. However this time something went wrong and she didn't recover. Now my husband and his brother are feeling the guilt and regret (like I felt in 1999 when my mother passed suddenly) of not doing more for their mother. It has been difficult cleaning out her house. You really don't know how much you will miss your parents until they are gone.

I have fond memories of dancing around the house with my two oldest sons in the '80s to the Thriller album. Great music. RIP MJ.

I'm sure if Michelle Obama was doing a lot of traveling without taking her children, people would accuse her of not being a good mother. I have watched interviews of both Mrs. Obama and President Obama and it is clear how important their children are to them. Is that a bad thing?

I will be finishing up cleaning out my mil's house and putting all of her things in storage until we feel comfortable deciding what to do with everything.

I don't get why people call Hillary the ice queen. I have tremendous respect for her. She is very intelligent and has a very difficult job. She has done a great deal for women around the world.

I don't drive one but I'm just curious, what is so bad about driving a mini-van?

I finally got to sleep at about 2:30 and woke up at 5:45, had to get up and make my son go to bed. I just don't get why he has to stay up all night and play xbox with friends.

I enjoy listening to my son teach himself to play a song on his guitar that he has been listening to. Right now he is into playing Jack Johnson songs. He has always been a drummer and just within the past few months has discovered how much fun his acoustic guitar is (quieter too). He is becoming very good at it.

That is definitely gross and would probably keep me from buying Tyson for a long time.
