  1. Try Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele in Marietta. All of the attorneys there are great. There is another one but I can't think of the name right now. It is right before the square if you are coming from the hospital, on the left. You can also go to gabar.org and search for an employment attorney by city (or maybe county). If they are in Cobb county--if I don't know them--I can find out about them. Madea also knows a bunch of attorneys in Marietta.
  2. Just got a message from one of my friends that lives in Panama City Beach and she said it was sleeting and snowing down there. CRAZY!!!
  3. If you look at the National radar---it looks like the snow is headed straight for us. It would have to take a deep cut to the south to miss us.
  4. Well, considering the fact that I deal with them on a daily basis (not just from the worksite--but in my job) I can tell you that they ARE NOT citizens. That is the bottom line. Most of them drive better cars than most of us, have more designer crap than most of us (and they don't like to carry the knock-offs)--but yet the government is paying all of their medical expenses and they are getting WIC for their kids. Try walking around the Walmart on Cobb Parkway. They are riding around the parking lot in the Suburbans, Escalades, etc--but yet they go get their foood with food stamps and WIC--and
  5. This is funny. They are building this right behind our office and most of the workers use our parking lot as a cut thru. I will say that at least 80-90% are of mexican decent and most speak no english. We laugh because at least 3 or 4 days a week, they have a mexican roach coach back there at lunch and they come running off the job to get in line!!!
  6. Has this been confirmed with the BOE???? Sounds strange to me. I thought they weren't going to have to make up the days???
  7. I have lived on Hiram Sudie all my life. My parents bought their house in the 60's. The road itself is not dangerous---it is the idiots that drive on it. Our driveway is in a blind spot when you are coming from Hiram. Unless it is dark and you can see headlights--we just have to kick it and go. If people would just pay attention to what they are doing and drive the speed limit--it would be fine. In all of my years on that road, between my parents, my kids and neice and nephew---only my dad had a wreck on Hiram Sudie and it was from hydroplaning in a bad storm. So, I guess what I am trying

Is the title in your name--or is your name even on the title??? That would be the deciding factor. You can co-sign a loan and not be on the title (which is stupid to do), but some financial institutions will allow. Sometimes you can talk to the institution and explain the situation and if you are willing to make the payments--they might even help you get the vehicle. We did this one time for a customer--of course they had to reimburse repo fees.
  9. I was afraid we were gonna lose him on that harmonica!!
  10. My son is grilling ribeyes and shrimp and I am cooking the baked potatoes and bread.
  11. Pork roast, black eyed peas and cole slaw. Not in a real mood to cook and that was easy.
  12. Considering that the Pearsons are building a 2-3 million dollar home in Florida.........
  13. They have had them for years. A friend of mine who is a female deputy worked up there many years ago.
  14. Funny--Joy is one of my favorites. Elizabeth is my least favorite.
  15. Glad they got this second guy---he doesn't live far from me!!! One more criminal off the streets. Let's just hope they keep him in jail!!!
  16. Funny--sometimes when I call them on Sundays, I have to tell them to bring bowls or they won't be taking anything home with them!!! And the dish drain--I got mine at Walmart about a year ago. It is one of the old timey Rubbermaid rubber covered wire ones. I don't like all these new ones--they are way too little. I have a dishwasher, but it doesn't work very well and I am used to hand washing the dishes.
  17. I also have SpyBot on my desktop--but it would not budge that virus. Had to renew my ESET and a little less than an hour of scanning--it was gone.
  18. Country fried steak, rice and gravy, mac & cheese(from scratch) and biscuits. Then I made a dump cake for desert. Oldest son come and took half of the food home with him--that's OK, I cooked for them but they went to a funeral earlier and just wanted to get home. So off with my food and bowls(which they never remember to return).
  19. I have gotten that one on mine before. I downloded ESET and it got rid of it immediately. I had let my subscription for ESET run out--so it was my own fault, but it did fix easily.
  20. He went by Aaron. He was friends with my son many years ago, but they hadn't had much contact the last couple of years.
  21. Espescially if it will be in Paulding court.
  22. Can't decide--but it won't be much. Been fighting headachs all day. Guess I will wait til my son gets home and see if he wants to warm up leftovers, cook sausage, eggs, grits and Biscuits---or have cereal!!! What a range in choices!!
  23. I raised 3 kids by myself--no financial help from their father. I helped all of them get cars, they had jobs in high school and paid thier own insurance, etc. As long as they were in school I did not make them pay anything around the house. I bought their clothes and paid their school lunches, but they were responsible for their running money and car insurance. I did keep the insurance in my name for a long time--in order to save them some $$$. They have all moved out even though 2 of them have moved back in at different times. Youngest son is back now--he has to pay the light bill and
  24. Then are you saying that is not your mug shot???? Sure looks like a phota taken at time od arrest to me. Maybe you weren't charged with PORN, but you certainly were charged with something related, I would assume.
