They have been going off for hours around here. I think they are up in Settlers Mill. We had sparklers for the grandkids and a few small things. They have done part of thier sparklers and are waiting til midnight to do the rest. Joy!!! I just hope that everybody quits right after midnight--I am tired and ready to go to bed!!!

They could have at least come out and taken a report. that way if there were any other calls regarding the same gentleman---it would strengthen a case.

I think it depends on the EMT/Paramedic. Some probably over diagnose the situation and call life flight when it is not really needed. In my opinion--life flight is for when it is really a life or death situation.

I thought the caboose was already gone. Maybe it has just grown up around it. Years ago when his step father moved the caboose in, it was really nice. It was all set up with a small piece of railroad tracks with gravel around them and everything. I was told that he had it set up like an outside den. Always impressed my Daddy---his father worked for Southern all of his life. But the fact that somebody had committed suicide in it---I would not want it. Sorry.

It is certainly newsworthy to some of us that have lived here all of our lives. Somebody that has only lived here a few years or less might not know folks or things about the county or city.

I had this same problem years ago with Levis. I actually emailed corporate and they told me that because Levis are hand made--no 2 pair fit alike and to ALWAYS try them on before buying. They suggested trying on 5-6 different pairs at one time to get the best fit. After I started that--I realized they were right!!!

Just make sure that a GM dealership will do any repairs since GM has shut down their Saturn operations. I have never had a Saturn for myself, but I bought my daughter one when she was in high school. That was enougn for me!!! We had nothing but trouble out of that car.

I have already cooked chicken tenders and chicken livers. Making rice and gravy to go with it. That's it.

Don't know much about grits--do ya???? The only way that we eat them is to cook the "long cooking" kind and add milk and plenty of butter, salt and pepper. The good ole southern way.

I was told by a friend in the car business to NEVER buy a car from CarMax. Don't know why--but I never have. I have dealt with Jim Tidwell Ford ever sine I got my first Thunderbird in 91. They have always done me right. My nephew is a Ford Mechanic(not at Tidwell) and he tried to get me to buy an Escape when I bought my Mustang. He said that they rarely see them in for repairs.

My 7 yr old grandson got one from hisother grandmother. He said it looks like a blanket that somebody cut in half and then cut holes in it for the arms!!!

This is the main reason that when my kids were little--I always went thru everything and made sure I had batteries, etc before Christmas!!! Sorry this happened to you, I bet it won't happen again!!!
