Maybe I WILL watch it again!! Aerosmith was my second concert......when I was 10 or 11.
-
I bet! As we were typing these posts, they were both in the kitchen getting themselves some fresh mater sandwiches!! Oh, and they already know how to clean up....dishes is my youngest's chore, and laundry is my oldest's.
-
I cant wait!!! Before long, they can cook supper for all of us!!!
-
I'm the same way! Having the sink full makes the whole house feel messy.
-
I clean as I cook too! I cant seem to get it through my boyfriends thick skull, though!! Whats the point in standing there and watching something boil, when you can be cleaning?? Anyway, my youngest made a fried egg sandwich when he was 8, supervised of course. They both will make brownie mixes and stuff like that, but no meals yet. Oh, and I wont let them take them out of the oven.

Thank you! It must be gone now, it wasnt there when I came through.

I hate movie theaters. They need to keep them a little warmer, and switch from cloth seats.

Gosh, I'm having a bad day. First, I was at the bus stop this morning, and a 1st grader was picking on me. And then to top it all off, the meter reader showed up....and I just dont have the money for another bill.

And its up 23 percent in the pre-market. Good luck!

Wow, both of these sound great!! So, your typical Friday night is sitting at home watching "zoombak"??? Mine would be!

And that could go either way. You didnt want to trust your life with someone who earns $12 per hour. Risk is there anyway, its about what is more efficient. Selfishly, I like my quiet time in the car. Its the only time I get.

I get your point, but your well being is in the hands of everyone on the roads. I would be willing to work from home!!!! My boss is very traditional, but I could easily do my job at home. My vote is for more telecommuting, and 4 day business operations. Then add buses and rail, and we are good to go!

Funny, but true. My oldest is 12, and I'm kicking myself a little for not teaching him to ride at least a small 4-wheeler. I'm a nervous nellie. About 4 years ago they drove a go cart in a friends driveway (large yard), and I almost had a heart attack just watching. I hate that I'm like this, but fortunately, my boyfriend has no fear and is willing to teach them. The mower is coming soon....right after the brakes get fixed. Experience is key. Another good point. Not only do they need to know how to drive, and feel comfortable, but they need to be defensive drivers as well

How do you plan to assure that your child is truly ready to drive by themselves? I went through drivers ed and had my permit, but I didnt drive much because I was seldom with my mom. I got my license the first time, and I can remember being really nervous while driving...even after I was awarded the priviledge. I have seen many parents tell their children that they will learn to drive in drivers ed, but "wont be driving MY car!!" even when the parent is there. There are some parents who wont let the children utilize their permit. There is far more to driving than whats on the normal te

Good luck Navy Eagle!

Thats what I thought it looked like, but I thought the checkerboard was the pic quality. Is this the new fad? Gosh, I better get to the hairdresser!

Very true. Its a personal matter now. I hope he is able to get the help he needs. Regardless of how or why this started, he is unstable. I'm sure it is no longer a choice for him, if it ever was....and nobody enjoys the state of mind he has right now.

Happy Birthday!!!

I went last week, and it was great!!!! I wished I had hundreds of dollars to spend. Last week I got some honey..and 2 days later my son had a bit of a runny nose and scratchy throat. I gave him a spoon of the honey, and never heard another word about him being sick. I also got some blueberries that were great. I have made pancakes twice, and plan to try making some jam with the rest. The last thing I got was some black and bleu homemade bread. My boyfriend is diabetic, and seems to only like white bread. He tried this bread and really enjoyed it.

And another AMEN.

My heart hurts for this family, and friends. I cannot imagine the pain, and to think Rene is thinking about other children by setting up a scholarship, speaks volumes. My prayers are with all of you.

Just for fun- What was your first paying job?

Well, at least you listened to him. That was my point. Just keep in mind, that it only takes ONE person to stand out. ONE person to change the way we perceive a Democrat, or Republican. At some point our politicians HAVE to change, and become for the people again. I havnt seen too many lately that can say they are. I dont get caught up in what people are running "as", but what they are running "for". If what he is running "for" doesnt match your values, then you wouldnt vote for him.

People should have insurance, that way it doesnt fall on other peoples shoulders to foot the bill. Is this the right way? Maybe not totally, but its better than sitting and doing nothing--meanwhile healthcare costs skyrocket, and you have to be in NASA to pay it. I'm not arguing that point, because we dont know how it will work out until it happens. I think Will Avery deserves the open mindedness of Paulding County. Has every Republican been a saint? Should we not vote in a republican because of other Reps bad decisions? ‘A weak mind is like a microscope, which magnifies tr
