And perhaps you missed my previous post. It's people like YOU that make my husband feel like he isn't worthy of parking in a handicap spot, despite his legal right to do so.

There's just so many what if's that I can't see the point in labeling them as lazy, etc. I guess I'm just too lazy to judge people. Maybe they forgot to put up their placard? And in the first pic, there's plenty of parking available next to the handicap spot.

*This* is why DH uses his DV (disabled veteran) privileges ONLY when he has a visible limp. He's afraid people will judge him by how he looks and not by the pain he masks everyday. I wish people had better things to do than patrol the Handicap spaces looking for people they deem worthy of using the spaces.

Adoption is such a blessing. I found the maternal side of my biological family 15 years ago and have an incredible relationship with them. My biological father contacted me two weeks ago. I was so happy to finally be able to tell him "thank you" for giving me life.

I say "you are welcome". I don't care what people respond with when I say "thank you" so long as they acknowledge me somehow.

Uhhhh, no. I have successfully dealt with my husband being thousands of miles in a combat zone for years. Happy, content women do NOT do this. We are not helpless unless we have men that like us to be that way. 15 years of marriage and my husband still opens my car door EVERY TIME and NEVER leaves me needing to put gas in the car. But he does that because he likes to do it for me, not because he thinks I can't do it on my own. Best of luck solving these issues. Unfortunately I don't believe PCom can help you on this one.

I found my favorite mayo in Costa Rica. It's a combo of mayo and mustard (mostaneza). They are SERIOUS about their mayo down there. But they have all kinds of combos; mayo and lime, mayo and hot sauce, mayo and garlic, mayo and ketchup, mayo and jalapeño, etc etc etc. And they all come in a perfect squeeze container so no islands left in the mayo jar.

Thanks for the links! I hate the thought of him using an electric razor because he shaves his head and the stubble looks funny. But if it'll keep him from bleeding profusely I guess we can live with stubble for awhile. All I can think of is how wonderful Dr. Raghavan was yesterday. He literally saved my husband's life.
