  1. No, he is legally an adult. 17 and older is an adult for traffic/misdemeanor charges.
  2. Wow! My DH has had three such injections since May, the last being a week and a half ago. I'm gonna keep an eye on him and definitely ask about it on Monday during his followup. Thank you for posting this!
  3. Hopefully they'll just cancel the show entirely.
  4. Why not go to the first court date, have your son speak with the asst DA (or whatever they call them in Dallas) and see if he can work something out with him. If he can't, then he can ask for a continuance so he can hire an attorney. Seems like a logical and more cost efficient way to do it.
  5. Meclazine didn't just make me lethargic when I took it for vertigo, it made me a zombie. I finally stopped treatment for it because the meds were causing more issues than the vertigo.
  6. I tried it a few months ago and it really wasn't that bad. But all the kids hopped up on sugar standing around the "Beverly" dispenser and gagging kind of tipped me off. My fave was Inca Cola from Peru.
  7. Do you take high blood pressure medication? If so, that could be the cause of the problems. Uncontrolled BP can also cause some of those symptoms. Confused yet? LOL
  8. Per basket. If you pick up at the warehouse, you'll save the $3.
  9. It changes each but you'll get oranges, apples, carrots (one pound bag), hydroponic lettuce, some fresh herbs, onions (two), potatoes, spinach, bananas, beets, corn (4 ears), etc. I do think it's better than going to the grocery store. Not only is everything fresh, but it's also in season fruits and veggies so they always taste great. I've priced it out and it seems to be a better deal. I've been doing this for a year now and very rarely do I go to the grocery store for produce now.
  10. Just FYI, the "Classic basket" seems to be the best buy. But I like the organic ones as well because you get some unique veggies sometimes. The pickup has a "swap bin" so if you get some veggies you don't like you can swap for other ones.
  11. Yep, that's it! I order from them every week. Love getting fresh, in season produce! The bread baskets are INCREDIBLE too
  12. This sounds stupid, but it generally works for me when I have 100mph brain going on. I make lists in my head. For example, animals that start with "A", cities that start with "C", and my personal fave; every type of bag I can think of (douchebag, golf bag, etc). It gets my brain off replaying the days events and puts it into more neutral territory.
  13. Dr. Oz said to take it in moderation (not over 1mg). But I only take Dr. Sensationalist's advice with a big grain of salt. I take Melatonin maybe once or twice a month and have no hangover effect. I recently got a sample from one of the pushers at Sam's. It was a sublingual (melts in your mouth) and it took effect in less than 20 minutes. I wish I could remember the name but I'm sure it's the only one they sell at Sam's. I took Melatonin at my doctor's advice when traveling overseas on a 14 hour flight. It worked like a charm to regulate my sleep schedule and very minimal jet la
  14. I'd be more worried about the CT. The amount of the radiation from one CT scan of the head is equal to approximately 100 XRays (one of the abdomen is equal to approx 500!). So it's always best to try to limit the amount of CT scans in your lifetime.
  15. I'd learn to live without it. I'm sure I'd save plenty of money in that year as well.
  16. Why did Obama not say anything about Cairo during his speech today? I might have just missed it...maybe.
  17. I don't answer my door for anyone I don't know.
  18. Damn those people for trying to make some hard earned money in this economy. They should be sitting at home collecting welfare instead.
  19. The majority of the $$$ for the OP's doctor came from speaking expenses from both Eli Lily AND Pfizer . I would not be bothered by this if I trusted my doctor. If I were bothered, I would simply ask my doctor to explain further.
  20. Everytime I see this girl's name, all I can think of is CPL Todd Love of Acworth, and many other Iraq and Afghan War vets who have come home and done so much. I wish Aimee luck but I think all of this constant news coverage her is over the top. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/29/todd-love-triple-amputee-marine-veteran-spartan-race_n_1840261.html
  21. Maybe I'm over thinking or over reading this. Do they mean you must be changing from your last actual address, and not one from 2 or 3 moves ago? A lot of people do not change their address on their license every time they move. So even though you changed your address with the USPS, you might have forgot to change with the DDS. That's the best my brain cells can muster tonight
  22. Then wouldn't you think it'd be time to change doctors if you feel they don't have your best interest in mind? But I'm guessing you have already begun the process of changing your children's PCP.
