I agree with both of these statements. I was going to suggest purple and white petunias. They are fairly easy to grow in this area. Lilies and phlox also do well and I can remember my mother grew some irises in Hiram many years ago. Phlox comes in several shades of purple, two of my neighbors have some that are blooming now. That's EXACTLY what hubby said when we first bought ours! It's been about 6 years now with 4 cats (3 long hair) and 2 hairy people (I know TMI) and our Dyson Animal is still going strong. I also have the Dyson rechargable handheld that is about the size of a dust buster. It works great on dry cat food spills, crumbs and such with strong power but has a short battery life. Before this I had purchased new Kenmores, Hoovers and I think a Bissell (?) but nothing compares to my Dyson. If you can at all figure out how to purchase a Dyson I would highly recommend it.

I don't see how it could be possible for this particular snake. It looks like a boa constrictor. A boa will wrap themselves tightly around their prey, then by squeezing they crush the prey to kill it, then their jaw opens so widely that they swallow their prey WHOLE. They don't just take a bite. Although they can bite, it doesn't sound like they can simply take a chunk out of you. Yes, some boas are large enough to swallow a human whole. This one doesn't look large enough.
