ALL of the new colors kill my eyes except for the light blue. I am very sensitive to bright colors and light. Was the anti-seizure medication Neurontin/gabapentin? Controlling seizures is what this medicine was originally approved for, but now it is also approved for the pain associated with shingles and is very commonly used for neuralgia. I know it is used for diabetic neuralgia that is usually felt in the hands and feet. My doctor has me on it for my fibromyalgia pain. I don't believe I have ever known anyone with occipital neuralgia. I know occipital involves the eyes or the section of the brain regarding sight. What symptoms does this diagnosis involve specifically?
