  1. I have always heard that Dallas has one. Maybe this one is it? Sheltered Cove Counseling Center 678-383-8801 200 E Memorial Dr Dallas, GA 30132 Here is another: Dallas Family Counseling Center 110 Evans Mill Dr Ste 305 Dallas GA 30157 USA (770)445-6358 http://www.dallasfamilycounseling.com Also, I seen a written ad last night for this one: Family Intervention Specialists 848 Hiram Acworth Hwy. Hiram, GA 30141 770-222-6622 1-866-727-8309 Email: info@fisinc.org Web site: www.fisinc.org
  2. In all seriousness, probably the mental health clinic in Dallas will provide services for this condition or they can lead you in the right direction.
  3. The only skin that doesn't hurt my eyes is the light blue. However, I can see nothing as a heading for notifications, sign out, etc. Can't we just go back to our old skins?
  4. Hubby will be home this weekend for the first time in 2 weeks. I haven't been out of the house since Sunday morning/afternoon. So you can be DANG sure that we will be going out to eat or something this Saturday or Sunday! I am a homebody, so it is weird for me to get cabin fever.

Lady Raider you are on the Mt. Tabor side of the dragstrip and I am on the East Paulding side. I guess that makes us street corner neighbors? Haha! So how are Mt. Tabor Rd and East Paulding Drive? I haven't even left my front porch since Sunday afternoon. Hubby will be driving home from NE Tennessee on Friday. I will need to try and get a few groceries before then.
  6. Good Morning! How cleared is East Paulding Drive between Mt. Tabor Park and Publix?
  7. How is East Paulding going toward Publix?
  8. WOW! Thank you for posting this Mommyof2. The Facebook profile turns out to be an old friend of mine that I have lost touch with! The 4 wheeler belongs to her son. If they haven't moved, then they should still live around the Old Cartersville Road area. I will be keeping an eye out for it here in my area of New Hope.
  9. A Facebook friend, who usually works over night or goes in during early morning hours, just posted that I-75 North and South is closed in Cobb County. I don't know if that is a certain area or the entire length. Please be very careful folks.
  10. I thought about getting all the medical receipts together and added up for our tax return. I doubt I will do that though. I need sleep and I did charge my Kindle last night, so I will probably read some too.
  11. We have cell phones and a land line. We are planning to get rid of the land line but haven't yet.
  12. For Greystone I have 770-949-7880. I have called this number to report outages only to find out that none of my neighbors have called at all!
  13. Just a reminder to keep a faucet or two dripping with cold water. It can help prevent this.
  14. The trees along East Paulding Drive have their limbs cut back EVERY year, but every year at least one huge tree goes down from someone's yard either from the cutting, a hurricane or ice storm. They also drip alot of extra moisture onto the road.
  15. The freezing rain is supposed to start up in Paulding today. It is supposed to be a mix of sleet and freezing rain, lightly, until around Tuesday morning. Here is the website for the National Weather Service in Georgia. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ffc/ WSBTV reported a few minutes ago that areas of Carroll County only has about 2" of snow but already has 1/4" of freezing rain. From a report that I seen yesterday, 1/4" of freezing rain can bring down tree limbs, 1/2" can bring down power and phone lines without anything hitting them.
  16. Yep, I have one if I should need it. I have Greystone Power programmed into my cell phone.
  17. Freezing rain and trees aren't the only problem to keeping the power on. Idiots who drive too fast for these conditions and slam into a pole or tree will do it too. I have been awake all night too but that's typical for me. I should be trying to sleep now.
  18. If you are referring to Ace Hardware in New Hope, they have went out of business.
  19. Me!! And I am not old! Or at least old enough to feel this rough physically. It's not just my fibromyalgia but I also have bursitis in my shoulders and a lot of inflammatory arthritis in my hands, feet, shoulders and low back. They are all throbbing with pain right now. I have read that it is something to do with how barometric pressure affects the gas within the fluid of the joints. When you "pop" your joint is releasing it.
  20. I was up all night and actually did need bread, so I called Dallas Walmart about 2am. I said "I am sure you are out of bread, so what time is the next delivery?" The woman laughed and said 4am. I got there around 8am and the shelves were full but the place was quickly getting packed. I did get my other weekly shopping done while there and went to Publix. Then went to Lowe's and Bed Bath & Beyond. Now I am exhausted and very achey!
  21. I use to stop at the outlet malls in Commerce coming in or out of S.Carolina where I would visit my Dad. I've usually had pretty decent luck there. I love the Seiko watch outlet and the "crystal" store (I can't remember the name of it. Is it Mikasa?). There are several shoe stores too. The Commerce area has more than one outlet mall as there are some on both sides of the interstate.
  22. This is my rule of thumb for spiders in the house: If it looks poisonous it gets squished. If it doesn't then it goes into a plastic cup and slung into the yard or in my roses, where it can eat the aphids, gnats, flies and other bugs.
  23. Garden Ridge DOES do this. They just rotate the in store stock according to what holiday is coming up.
