North, South, East and West Paulding

If this house is being put up for sale or rent then I would just call it the "Dallas area" since the address is Dallas. -

I guess it would depend how far up North Davis Mill you are talking about. You said the house is on the end towards Hiram Sudie, which is south Paulding. When I lived on South Davis Mill 30 years ago we attended Hiram Elementary but we had a Dallas address. I am guessing the Dallas address for that area hasn't changed much. -

I grew up in a house on what is now South Davis Mill when it was a dirt road with only about 8 houses on it. I now live in New Hope which is East Paulding. I consider Dallas to almost be middle Paulding, but North Davis Mill I would still consider south Paulding. North Davis Mill isn't that far from Hiram High School and Hiram is southeast Paulding. -
A couple of years ago we decided to handle this sort of problem by buying a new PC with a large amount of hard drive space. Then connect it to the TV and the sound system. We use an Ethernet connection to stream movies and shows to the PC. Then the PC in turn plays them on the TV screen, basically turning our HDTV into a large monitor. Yes, that is pretty basic, but it does the job and we firmly believe an Ethernet connection is faster than a wireless connection through a laptop or different PC.

Looking for a good upholstery shop for boat seats
msgastorm replied to feelip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Ron's Upholstery. The shop is 3rd generation family owned and operated. I think they have a Temple address but are located in West Paulding. It seems like I have seen it posted that they will come to you for a pick up. I have seen pictures on his FB page of reupholstered boat seats and recently seen a pic of a reupholstered automobile seat. He does very good work. Click on this link for his phone number. https://www.facebook.com/rons.upholstery/info?collection_token=100003828366311%3A2327158227%3A8 -
I was looking at the forecasts of different areas around us through the National Weather Service. Huntsville, AL and Chattanooga, TN are supposed to have some freezing rain. My husband is currently in Dallas, Texas. He said they are currently receiving freezing rain that is supposed to change over to a sleet and snow mix later.

I think it is used to replace violence or violently in another language, but I am not sure what language. A search on Ask.com pulled up many things but a couple were Brazilian articles. Another similar word was violencia. There was also a Facebook link to a page for a Canadian metal band named Violency.

This time that Leno left he wasn't fired, he chose to go. I think he plans to stay gone. The show also moved back to the east coast. I've never cared much for Fallon. His shows can become entirely too loud for a late night show when you are supposed to be trying to get relaxed, not to mention he isn't all that funny.

I don't think so. We have a full basement and I have felt them in this house here in the New Hope/Dallas area. My headboard is against an exterior wall and several times I have felt them as low as 2._ However, our builder had to use dynamite for half our basement as it is sitting on a very large piece of granite and on top of a high hill. I firmly believe that whether or not a person can feel the small ones depends on that persons sensitivity to vibration. I am very sensitive. Frequently I am awakened not by noise but by the vibration causing the noise, if t

Does anyone know if stores at New Hope are open?
msgastorm replied to AdamnAarens Mom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My husband was in the New Hope Publix around 11am. Don't plan on finding bread there though. -
Wayne traveled from New Hope area down East Paulding to Hwy 92, down 92, took 278 to Enterprise Car in Hiram. He said all main roads are fine. Subdivision roads and Griffin Rd are not, but the subdivision roads are becoming better due to the melting. The salt trucks with snow plow blades on the front were on 278 earlier this morning. Remember that anything left on the roads WILL REFREEZE tonight because the temps are dropping into the 20s.

To be honest The Weather Channel isn't really a good place to find out about our local weather. I've never thought they were that good with forecasts. Try the National Weather Service. Click on this link to reach the main page for their Peachtree City location which is where our Georgia office is located. Scroll down the page until you see the colored map of Georgia that has watches, warnings, etc. posted on it with updates hourly. You can then click on your county to pull up your local forecast, current temps, radar, etc. Don't forget to bookmark the pag -

Thank you for the explanation! My mom actually has one of those that my stepfather built for their chickens, but I have never heard it called a chicken tractor. That's a cute name! Have a good day.

<br / I was hoping that there is a less dangerous method! LOL I don't believe I should try that method as we just spent over $15,000 on two new HVAC systems and new basement duct work, etc. about a year and half ago. I do believe your method would void the warranty or at the very least damage the whole house filter! Thank you for the advice though. Yes, my husband is electrically minded. He has 3 degrees and was hired directly from college to GM Detroit in robotics. He has worked for about 20 years now traveling to the machines, wiring, setting up, etc. on ind

Yes, but he is working up there and can't leave until at least Wednesday. He is a hard headed man that grew up in Minnesota, so I doubt I will be able to get him to wait until this stuff starts melting off the roads to come home. -

My husband will have to drive home from the Knoxville area and I don't think he will wait until Friday. -
Ok, my grandparents raised chickens in both a large chicken house commercially and my grandmother's coop in her yard for her privately owned hens. This one has me stumped though. What in the heck is a chicken TRACTOR?

We have natural gas for the stove/oven, water heater and heat. However, the blowers on the HVAC unit will not come on without electricity. I have been wondering if there was any way to hook a generator up to the blowers? Our living room has a huge vaulted ceiling with arches going into the hallway and kitchen, so it will be very hard to keep warm even with the fireplace, but the fireplace and a couple of small propane heaters are all I have. I usually get some brauts or hamburger fixings because they will cook up quick. With a power outage there will be a HUGE drain on the natural gas or

I also have the Old Country Roses china pattern. It's a kind of expensive pattern from Macy's, but I think they are about to stop making the pattern. Mine is rimmed in gold and there is no way it would be outside of the china cabinet! I saved for a little bit to get just about all of the pieces because I had been looking at it for a long time. Maybe she needs some of the obedience training classes they give at PetSmart? She sounds funny but I am sure this will get old after a while, especially if she doesn't grow out of it. I wish you the best of luck.
