  1. Ooooohhhhhh that is beautiful! Good work. Thank you for sharing.
  2. I LOVE Fred's. I still have a couple of throw pillows with ribbon decorations on them that I bought at that store when it first opened! Where will the closest Fred's be now?
  3. One of mine, Kiki the only female, LOVES yogurt. I cannot pull the lid off of one without her begging and hounding me, so I put about a tablespoon on top of the lid and she licks it clean and begs for more every time. She also loves spicy taco meat with sour cream and cheese or spagetti noodles with sauce and cheese on it. If you try to give her plain browned ground round she won't eat it though! She loves the spice and sauces. We call her our Mexican/Italian kitty. I don't give her alot though. She also loves ice cream but I have to say yogurt is her favorite. The other 3 will not eat like
  4. I heard on the news that it's call the "corn moon" this month.
  5. Hey Kelly...have you not discovered rechargable batteries yet?
  6. Cremultion (sp?) I loved this stuff and I think it had herbal meds in it too. I've also had bronchitis problems all my life. Even today I will get bronchitis after the flu EVERY time.
  7. All were good but I like the crab joke better.

    ok ...

Awake but in bed with the laptop. I've been sleeping alot the past 2 days, which never happens with insomnia. I think I may have a sinus infection or something. Hubby arrived home from Puerto Rico today after having put in about 70 hours this week in a plant there, he is fried. Madea and Kelly I hope both sons feel better soon!
  9. Oh no! Hubby has always loved their wings and the fact they are only 1/4 mile from us was great. I hope the employees find new jobs soon. They were always so nice to us.
  10. My stepsister and I were about 5 when we some how got a pair of scissors out into the backyard where we proceeded to play "hair dresser" and give each other bangs. The bad part was that the "bangs" were only 1/2" from our scalps but we thought it was great fun.

    Roofers

Just in case anyone needs one, I found a small NO SOLICITATION sticker at Hiram Walmart in the mail box area for $1.00 the other night.
  12. How far away from the vendors do you have to park? My hip doesn't like unnecessary walking these days and I can't park my car on the side of a road, it sits too low.
  13. The box tops need to come from which BRAND of cereal? Can someone please give me specific details so that I can help? No kids here, but I can eat alot of cereal by myself. Healthy ones of course!
  14. I was cleaning my kitchen last night/early morning and found a bunch of Betty Crocker proofs of purchase cut from cereal boxes. I am not sure what to do with them or if someone else might need them.
  15. Nope. It was $50 more to $300 now, but this is the highest I expect it will be all year since we are about to start having cooler temps. We were not trying for a cheaper bill because the AC is definitely needed and welcome in our house.
  16. SS thank you for the dates and the links. I really want to go this year.
  17. Your profile says you were born in 1980. So you either like vintage porn or inherited a collection?
  18. Well it can't be dead because it's skin is still pink!
  19. Hmm...well I went shopping late last night. I am a night person so I didn't get to sleep until about 9am or so this morning. I haven't slept well for days and wound up sleeping until 8:30 tonight! That was very unusual for me (chronic insomnia and fibromyalgia, etc.) but I guess I needed it. I am about to make some dinner and start house cleaning. Hubby will probably be flying home tomorrow from working in Puerto Rico. Nothing interesting here. I hope everyone had a great Saturday?
  20. It doesn't look plucked. It looks like it was born without feathers!
  21. Yes. It may not kill us but I bet it would kill them. Some people think of their chickens as pets. My Mom says hers definitely are. She uses most of their eggs, but lets them keep a few to sit on. This past spring they hatched both solid black and solid white chicks that were so CUTE!
  22. We also have LaZBoy furniture in the livingroom and a recliner in my study/library. My husbands recliner in the livingroom is needing to be reupholstered. I have found out that LaZBoy will reupholster in ANY of the fabrics or leathers found in their sample books, they will also "rebuild" or "tune up" the parts to the recliners and couches. I know for a fee they will deliver to you but I am not sure if they pick up the furniture from you? Just give them a call. We use the one on Barrett Parkway. I love our furniture!
  23. Every one of my four indoor cats has this whiney type of meow that they will do, over and over, when they see a bug and can't reach it. When I go to see what the problem is they are facing it with their head pointing in the direction of the bug meowing, and it's a weird whiney/alarm type of meow. So I have to get the bug down with a broom and throw it out or kill it depending on whether it is a good or bad type of bug or spider. Usually it's june bugs or spiders. We have a little piece of woods behind our house that also brings them in when it turns colder. The oldest cat is 9 years old, she s
  24. I ALWAYS see them inside Walmarts late Saturday or early Sundays. They put them out on a big pallet type of thing just past the entrance doors.
  25. About 2 years ago we had a rooster running loose all over our side of the subdivision for a couple of months. I am not sure where it came from or where it went. I am off of East Paulding Dr. On a side note. Be careful if you are currently carrying swine flu and are around chickens. I have read on the CDC's website that it is tranmissable to humans, pigs AND chickens. I have told my Mom because she has a rooster and several ginny (sp?) hens. They are so cute! Especially the little chicks.
