Ummm...I have never heard the details about the "pigeon forge hot tub explosion" but I am beginning to wonder if this hot tub was warmed by open FLAME??

Even if it is H1N1 we won't be quarentined! By Tuesday night the news was reporting that Ga Tech had over 100 students reporting to the student clinic with flu symptoms and they did NOT test them for H1N1 because it was just too many. A few students in Cobb county public schools tested positive last week. The symptoms are mild for a flu, it is just extremely contagious. Just call your doctor or go to the ER and get a script for Tamiflu within 48 hours of starting a fever. It won't stop you from getting it, but it will make the symptoms much milder, and then you shouldn't get it again! Think of

Yes try Pate's! We have always used Sears and we have always had to pay really high repair bills when an appliance broke. A few weeks ago our side by side fridge broke and we tried Pate's. They came out, diagnosed the problem and even had the new part in their van, so it was fixed in an hour and it was a major part! I believe they charged $45 to come out and diagnose the problem, Sear's charges like $65 or $75 to do this. Here is the link to their member profile here on Paulding.com with their phone # and other info. They have been doing business in Paulding county for decades. http://www.pa

White counter tops, white cabinets, white linoleum floors, in 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Works great on them all. I also have the eraser mop for the floors. I use it in between my wet jet cleanings and the eraser mop will remove anything from the white linoleum.

Hmmm...but there again you could get arrested, so can't win either way! I hope it gets much better for you.

Somehow this mental image comes to mind of a woman tossing her converter box over the white house gates while screaming at the top of her lungs, holding her head and crying, while getting arrested! Sorry hun, I can understand how you feel. My hubby has seen me in that state MANY times working on something around the house and I won't hold back a few bad words (no kids here and I am part Irish).

Six pm news on WSB-TV showed interviews done on the GA Tech campus. Today it was announced that over 100 students there were reporting sick with flu symptoms. A few students in Cobb public schools were confirmed to be H1N1. I guess it's time to get ready.

I think you should put another king bed in a spare bedroom, and have pillow cases embroidered with their names on them. At least this way you would have your bed back and they would have their own!

Garden Ridge! They will start putting their Christmas stuff out very soon. My husband would want to strangle me if he knew I was already thinking about it. I have an entire storage room full of indoor and outdoor Christmas decor already. The thing is that my pain is usually too much to get more than just the inside of the house done. That's ok though because it's just us and the cats. I still put up the 8' tree and the indoor lights in the windows. We give each other gifts and the 4 cats get stockings full of toys, then we laugh and play with them.

That age? Age has nothing to do with it if it's in preparation for a surgery. I didn't have "movie prep" but it was a bottle of other stuff that also tasted "lemony". I had the same experience for over 24 hours. I told the nurse and my doctor just before surgery that I was still having problems and since I was going to be knocked out for my surgery I apologized in advance "just in case"! My doctor told me later nothing happened though. LOL

This late at night it would be considered disturbing the peace, so if it continues then I would call. You have me curious though, so if you find out what it is please let us know.

I grew up on Paulding water for drinking water and have always used it until a few years ago. About 15 years ago the chlorine smell became worse. Then a few years ago I noticed the smell got even worse still. A little over 4 years ago one of my cats had developed a bladder infection and has not had this problem before. I then noticed my cats had cut way back on drinking the tap water even though it was filtered with Brita tap filters ($25-$30 per filter with an average life of 6 weeks) and I kept the filters changed frequently. So one day (after the one cat got well) I decided to test them. I

Uncle Sam Will Pay For You To Upgrade Your Appliances
msgastorm replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Every little bit helps, especially these days. Even if you spend $3,000 you could apply the tax free to the first $1500, I would think. -
Holy crap! Is that bed a king? If not then maybe you should consider getting one! LOL

Also the GA Sales Tax Exemption for certain appliances will be in October. "The Bill also provides an exemption for specific energy and water efficient products purchased October 1 – 4, 2009." https://etax.dor.ga.gov/salestax/holiday/2009/index.aspx -
High by James Blunt Ok, am I the only one who thought this was hilarious? This was from CE's song list and it just happened to stick out to me. Too funny.

Aww thank you CC. I wish I were a morning person again, but I've tried many times and my time clock just won't reset itself. I was bringing home groceries from Walmart at 2am last night! LOL You have a great day hun.

Probably because Paulding.com was down for over 2.5 hours tonight. I think it was due to the storms. We never lost power but the lightening hit close several times and it doesn't help that we live on top of a huge hill. I believe it hit the drag strip once tonight, it does that alot. This particular time 2 of my cats were in a window and one of them jumped 1 foot vertically, while the other jumped 4 foot horizontally! I laughed for quite a while.
