The other day there were 2 reports that I seen on Paulding.com of local homes being invaded by ants. I have NEVER heard of this happening with this type of cold! Hubby grew up in Minnesota so I asked him, he hasn't either. We both thought it was weird. Channel 2 weather at 6pm said that around Friday and Saturday some lows in extreme north Georgia could be in the single digits. Here is the National Weather Service report for Dallas. NWS forecast for Dallas, GA -
That will be interesting to see if it is also snowing!

From 1998-1999 I used the Hope Grant to pay for a technical certificate. I was unemployed, so it payed for all my tuition and an allowed book amount. I sometimes had to pay some on my books. Back then I first had to apply for FAFSA, then once it was denied I was able to apply for and receive the Hope grant. I am not sure if any of the rules and regulations have changed since then, but I think you can only use Hope for a separate certificate or degree TWICE in a lifetime, so make it count! Congrats on the decision to return to school and I wish you the best of luck!

I am very thankful that hubby did not lose his job as so many others have. I am also thankful that a friend, who is in the AirForce stationed in Quatar (spelling), is still safe and unharmed.

I use to have a flotation sleep set (normal pillowtop mattress with a water mattress inside) that I kept a 2" memory foam "topper" on. I found that the memory foam helped with my fibromyalgia tender points BUT it seemed to keep me too hot (I am normally hot all the time but this was worse). Since then I switched to a Sleep Number bed that has a few inches of memory foam built into the pillowtop padding of the bed. I believe you can still get 1-3" depending on which model you order and it seems much cooler. I love this bed more than any bed I have ever owned. I can change the firmness as needed

Haha! Thank you but we are leaving for Longhorn's in a minute. -
WEEKS for an appointment and "FREE" health care my ass! If our government takes over our health care then what we will have will be like Canada's health care system. My MotherInLaw's family is from Canada. Her sister lived with her husband and children in the Winnepeg area when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. From the time of her diagnosis to the FIRST appointment to begin cancer treatment was a ONE YEAR WAIT! During that time she passed away without ever receiving treatment. In some areas of Canada those in a town who need to see a doctor have their names put into a drawing. Say if the

We are home with the kitty cats and movies tonight. Right now District 9, later Paranormal Activity. It looks like half our neighbors stayed home too. Happy New Year all!

Me? Thank you! That was a couple of years ago when I was going to the tanning bed for the first time in my life and it was also the "darkest" I have been in my life, even though it was only a rosy-beige. (I just can't tan.) For some reason sunshine or tanning beds help to clear my skin, so I think that is one of my best pics. It's kind of weird, but it can't be healthy for my skin so I quit going. This has been a great topic. I may try the Suki cleanser and toner. Thank you for the links and advice.

I've tried the Proactiv on/off for a few years and it doesn't seem to help much with the oil or the acne. In fact I still receive a kit every 6 months and I need to cancel them. The cleanser actually makes it worse. The treatment sometimes helps a little. The clay mask is good to dab on the most severe breakouts overnight for drying. So overall it helps some if I go without using the cleanser. Where can the Aveda gel cleanser be found and what is "suki serum"? Oops! Nevermind QOTSA, I just noticed your links. I need some sleep. Thank you.

I drink a ton of water every day. Usually I ONLY drink water, juice or milk, but yet I have had trouble with oily skin and acne since I was 12. It was bad as a teenager, got a little better in my 20s, then about 5 years ago it started getting worse again. Nothing seems to be helping either. Ugh!

Sure you can! "They" are called a girdle!

I hope not. The community center is too beautiful to be a police facility. It has gorgeous chandeliers, huge windows with beautiful lighting and a full kitchen. Our wedding and reception was held there in 2000.

Then if they DON'T die the contract may possibly be used in court against them. -
I am betting it will be charged to the at fault driver's auto insurance.

OR... just pick up a package of spinach dip from Publix deli. Theirs have water chestnuts in it and it tastes great with bread or crackers!

Me either but I thought maybe it's because most of my posts are in the middle of the night when the board isn't so busy?
