Show up in person and politely tell them your story and politely "demand" to watch them correct your bill. Then pay that corrected bill on the spot, and get a receipt or print out that shows that that charge has been removed and the bill has been paid in full to the satisfaction of both parties. Have someone sign something to that effect if necessary.

Sounds exactly like the War on Drugs to me. Punish the addict because that is far easier than controlling the source. It's worked so well with Crack and Meth, lets try it on Big Macs. It is just another TAX. -

I have to sign non-compete and privacy agreements with some of my customers, and many require that you allow them to conduct a background check that includes social networking sights. You can refuse, but they can refuse to hire you too. There is also some case law that indicates that joining school activities such as sports or clubs is a privilege, and membership can come with additional requirements including random drug testing and other assignments of privacy rights. The suit is certainly not a slam dunk for the girl. -

When a redhead walks in with a huge box of used books to trade don't panic. It's just my wife and I assure you that she will walk out with far more than she walked in with. -

With the exception of using the public highways to move "Farm Equipment". Bubba could say that he had to go cut momma's grass. -
He can rebuild it using that College Education that football paid for. Oh wait......He didn't think that far ahead. Sc$%w Mike Vick. He made his own bed. He knew what was at stake, and he took the chance. I don't feel sorry for him one bit. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Just another Thug that can hold a ball. And not even a very good one at that.

If we have learned anything from this economic cycle, it is that a preponderance of middle to lower income housing is not the way to insure that you have a broad enough tax base to sustain a properly functioning government that serves the needs of the population. Too many eggs in too fragile a basket.

It does appear that they are getting $300,000 according to the revised FY 2010 Budget. I don't know what their proposed outlays are for this year other than the Airport, however, since they are on the non-departmental sheet. IF that $300k is just going to boost their savings, then I would tend to agree that this can be cut substantially more.

That's what I remember also. I think that the IBA plans to fund this from their cash on hand.

filing a complaint against a business that continues to call
lotstodo replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is a common collection practice. They will keep bugging you in the hopes that YOU will pay the overdue bill just to shut them up. When they call, tell them that they are to never call you again, that you do not owe any debt, and you are recording the call as instructed by the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs for possible action against their illegal collection practices under Rules 12-1-14-25 and 12-1-14-26. Of course you are lying, but they don't know that. This should shut them up. And do call the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs and file a complaint. -
One year old.......sleep, eat, pee, poop, eat poop, cry, smile at mommy, laugh at funny faces (daddy even when he isn't trying), watch baby Einstein and repeat. Does that about cover it?

Walton EMC definitely. They are the most consistent in low rates throughout the year. Don't fall for temporary reductions or rebates. You can compare the rates HERE. Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas is comparable in price, but I don't personally know about their service. I can vouch for Walton's service. They answer all questions about price plans and it is physically possible to talk to a human.
