Please read and remember: If you like to tailgate motorcycles--stop! One small slip, one piece of debris, one little bump from behind can cause a fatality. Think of all the times you've been in fender benders or seen them on the road and then take away the car itself. Chances are you will run over the bike AND rider unless you give yourself enough room. And if your children are just learning to drive explain this to them as well! With the weather lately, you're going to see bikes on the road...look twice, save a life!!!! That is all.....

As a Butler grad I must say: well fought battle guys!

o you are not kidding! some of the people that drive down hughes are crazy! i don't even like riding the motorcycle down there because of the speeders and people crossing the center line. i don't understand why the county doesn't put speed bumps and signs around any of our parks? but then again, we don't have sidewalks for our schools either. SLOW DOWN YOU BONE-HEADS!!!!

My husband bought a Boston Butt from the Hooks 14u team. HOLY COW!!!!!! We served 6 adults and 5 kids and barely made a dent in the amount they gave us. By far some of the most incredible pulled pork we have EVER had!!! Make sure you post your next smoke!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Do RiteAid or one of those places. The requirements for the photos are veryyyy specific and if it's screwed up just a tiny bit they will not accept it. Ours only cost a few bucks. Don't mess with the post office...we walked right into the Douglas County courthouse, turned all our stuff in and had the passports back within 2 weeks and did not pay any express fees or anything. For 3 of us I think it took 10 minutes.

Thank you sooo much for posting this! Sweetwater Creek is such a gorgeous place and many people don't even know where it is! Or maybe that's a good thing for those of us that go. My son and I love hanging out there on weekends. I'll definately be watching!

Has anyone been to that new wing place at the Kroger on Ridge Rd?
irish replied to softballmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We've been there quite a few times and really enjoyed it. Last time I had the steak sandwich (like a Philly but no peppers or onions)...was excellent! Very very tasty. Have had the fried mushrooms and most of the other appetizers...never a bad one. Good Greek salad but my favorite are the burgers. Very friendly and attentive staff. And no...I don't work there, sing there or have anything to do with the place expect for filling my stomach.! -
In the state of Georgia it's completely legal. In other states you must make sure a 'dog house' is provided for them....but not in Georgia. Dog houses are optional.

BLD does this for us and I've noticed the guys grabbing trash that blows around in the street. They even took our can behind the garage on one of the windy days because it kept blowing over!

You know things are tough when the GOP promotes paramutual betting

Betting/casinos were a big fat NO WAY where I grew up. AND THEN... they started with off track betting, added a few casinos and it helped the state SO much. Being so close to Alabama and Tenn, something like this could be a gold mine for a little county (Paulding) so close to both areas. The amount of jobs it would produce (remember: casinos are 24-7-365) is staggering. The boost to the local restaurants, hotels and shops....o yeah, and people could fly into that airport they just built. These are the things Paulding needs to work on. Get creative guys. Build a venue for big ticket -
Key West.... we used to do all our mamma trips there. Shopping, good food, great bars, tons to do. And the best part....extremely safe for women traveling alone!!!! Delta has direct flights now so you don't even need to rent a car...you can rent a moped or bicycle to get around if you want. Definately go to Dry Tortugas to go snorkeling....one of the most beautiful places ever!!!!

MAYBE instead of demolishing the old one they can put it on a truck and drop it off somewhere near Ridge Rd/Nebo/Baker's Bridge! There's no fast food in sight around that area!

Yes, he is still on staff at Emory and does work at Grady in their trauma unit. He only has 2 children. I know Dr Gupta well and he really is an awesome guy. And yes,..he has balls the size of Texas for the work that he does on trips like this AND the stuff he does here in the states. AND to the crew that is working with him...photographers, audio folks, producers.... big props to them. People bash the media too much....especially when they don't know what goes on behind the scenes. An Australian tv crew rescued a baby yesterday and most journalists are helping. They share their food

You will not be disappointed...easy flight in, small airport, quick drive to all the resorts, unbelievably clean. I loved it there and would go back in a heartbeat. Take pictures from the airplane as you're flying in and out!!! Only warning-- get to the airport early for your departure...I had to wait in line quite a while for security. Not as bad as the Bahamas or Key West but still.....check with the hotel and have them give you a recommendation on when to leave. HAVE FUN!!!!

Can't compare...Turks is the place to go. (club med was nice.) Bahamas is nice but touristy Jamaica is touristy, crowded and if you even think about leaving your all-inclusive the panhandlers swarm Dominican is beautiful BUT if you do not enjoy or are not adept to a foreign country you may not like it. it is on the rise as a tourism spot but still has the rough edges when it comes to language barriers etc. check the travel advice websites before you book anything at all. tripadvisor is the one we use alll the time. and cheapcarribean.com has the best packages that include airfare an

I would contact Tanner. With their recent expansion, they are serving the west side of Atlanta very very well. Although the GA state mental health hospitals are horrible, if this person needs immediate/stabilizing care....it's something that has to be done.

alcohol/drug abuse : ridgeview in marietta diagnosed mental illness: ridgeview in marietta kids or adults with less serious issues i'd recommend tanner in carrollton. any of these can be in or outpatient. might want to check with your insurance first tho before you end up with thousands in bills and an insurance company that will just throw up their hands. good luck to you.!!!

We've been researching this the last 3 weeks. Basically, unless you are 90 days behind on the payment nothing will be done. We called the mortgage co and explained our job loss, 50% cut in income, blah blah blah and they said they won't even look at it until we're behind. We tried the govt program but since we didn't buy irresponsibly, they won't help. We called 4 places about refinancing and they won't help because our property value has dropped so low. I hope you have better luck than we did.!!!

I did the upgrade from Vista to Win 7 with no issues. But I did just the regular upgrade and it was totally fine. Windows 7 does have a pre-install where it checks your computer and lets you know if anything needs to be changed. When you do install 7, plug in all the equipment you use..ie printer, external hard drives etc. Win 7 will download their drivers during the install. I LOVE Win 7....

This is on the Paulding Co website now. If you register your info they use an automated service (like the schools do) to notify you of weather issues. https://login.coderedweb.com/codereddataentry/Default.aspx?groupid=WxSRv7451rcU7YEWUILhFA%3d%3d

Last year we bought digital picture frames for the grandparents. We loaded a memory card with pictures of all the grandkids, installed it, set the frame up and that way when they opened the box all they had to do was plug it in. We send them updated memory cards throughout the year.
