DOT has been working on that intersection for a long time in preparation for a traffic signal.

I do not why people cannot understand the simple things. They seem to think the government should only work on the one task that is a priority to them. Many also do not understand the different responsibilities of local, state and federal government.

Lock your doors....don't be an easy target for these folks. They cannot make noise in the subdivisions at night so they simply check for unlocked doors and remove the valuables left in sight. People leave countless expensive electronics, purses and guns in view with the door unlocked....recipe for disaster.

That would be a relevant question after construction is completed.

Lesson learned. Don't joke about bombs on planes when there is smoke in the air...there just could be an Air Marshal there who takes it serious.

Society has found a new drug dealer...doctors. If it is prescription medication for 'pain' it is not viewed in the same aspect as illegal drugs by most of society. People have simply found a legal way to get their drugs.

I used VRBO last year an found several nice houses...narrowed it down and rented one. This year I was shocked to find that during the same time frame every one of those houses are $400 - $600 more per week.

I really have to wonder what criteria some people use when they voice their opinions. A serious medical call will require Fire-Rescue, an ambulance and probably a fire supervisor responding to the scene. The need for a helicopter will require at least one more fire engine and probable LE to establish the landing zone at another location. That is quite a few vehicles which are all necessary.

I say the majority is passed on by the parents during childhood. Many think morals only come from religion which is not true. Religion was usually used by fellow man as a way to 'enforce' morals by making one believe he answers to a higher power.

In that specific case...yes. In general...No. I have seen similar situations which have been resolved by a little proactive work by the HOA and the residents. The group that was formed to ensure compliance all carried letters from the HOA identifying them as authorized representives of the property owners which gave them the legal authority needed to ask people to leave the property. They would record the persons name and address and provide them with a written form that served as official notification that they were not welcome on the property. It also advised them if they returned

They need to hire security or the HOA needs to deal with it with volunteers. Situations like that are not criminal and should not involve LE until the persons are considered trespassers. To be a trespasser they either have to refuses to leave or return to the property after being given notice that they are no longer welcome by an authorized represenative of the property.

Plenty of people have their stupidity stopped daily because of alert citizens reporting things that gives LE a heads up.

The only two laws are posted above. Unless it can be proven that the manner in which they are shooting is endangering others it is completely legal.

They are only following state law which requires them to run lights and siren to be considered an emergency vehicle.

You see...my land is the appropriate place for me to shoot since I own it. The activity is legal, I comply with all applicable laws, and I shoot in a safe manner with a proper backstop. I dare someone to tell me otherwise only because they do not personally agree with my choice of activities. You can 'what if' all day long, as long as there is no proof of negligent activity they should be left alone.
