My husband and I fought over this ... he would say I'm going the speed limit ...I would tell him you are going to cause a wreak and get taken out by people having to go around us... move over a lane. My dad taught me to move over and stay safe, to let the "bat out of hell" have a free lane. When I had an opportunity to speak with the CHP officer ... we got around to this topic and he basically said what my dad had taught me ... but more in context of the law I guess.

Funny, I can see us having another snow storm with the weather pattern we have this year. We might as well cancel next week's vacation and just use those days to have two re-paid, plus an extra three in case we have another storm in the next 40 days (or so) until we are out of winter?

Years ago we had rotten kids in our neighborhood who would vandalize the pool on the weekends in summer. No one wanted to turn them in for fear of retribution. The sub-division put in cameras and turned the tapes over to the police each time there was an incident and in a short time all vandalism stopped. Don’t know the states on hardened criminals … if it makes them think twice … but for a deterrence to nuisance crime … I think it worked very well.
