MADISONVILLE (AP) - A Sweetwater man was sentenced to 60 days in jail for trying to arrest a Monroe County grand jury foreman who refused to indict President Obama on treason charges. I've never heard of that!!! I got cash back one day at Walmart and the cashier gave me a hundred dollar bill, that's all he had. He did not have any 10's 20's or anything to make up $100, so I go to the customer NO service desk and she didn't want to give me change for it, needless to say, I showed my fanny and got my $100 bill broken into $10's & $20's. This was not a good day for me!! There's not too many places that will take anything over a $20 bill. It's sad it has come to this but, you can't really blame them.

Hubby's making me play nice and I'm biting my tongue! People were in the streets, too. They want to be in the front so they can get all the candy but, the little ones were NOT getting the peppermint, they didn't care about that kind of candy, they wanted the good stuff and left the not so good candy on the ground. I don't guess their parents told them you take the good with the bad. People amaze me!!!! I do know that when I worked in a warehouse, years ago (78 & 79) the employer DID have to pay us for 4 hrs minimum and they made us sweep the floors, so they didn't have to pay us 4 hrs for nothing.

We use Marks and Morgan in the Arbor Place Mall, it's directly across from Zales. They have a Holiday Specal, for every $300 you buy you get $100 in Holiday Dollars. The thing is, when you "use" your Holiday Dollars, you have to spend double the amount of your Holiday Dollars. Yeah, it's a form of trickery but, you "don't" have to make anymore purchases if you don't want to!!! They do have some sales where your Holiday Dollars are doubled. I think you have like 3-6 months to use the Holiday Dollars.

When my brother passed away from an auto accident, I listed his cause of death in the obituary because, I too, wanted people to know. I received this in an email today, I know it's a scam because I have NOT requested any info for any "secret shopper" position. People are real vulnerable at this time of the year and with anyone who has lost their main source of income, this could be pretty tempting. PLEASE, DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!
