I used to work at Rhodes Furniture Distribution, I was there 5 yrs and have been keeping a check on any new incoming business, In hope of a new job. I have not worked since they closed in November 2005. I do miss all the people I worked with.

The Sheriff's office could use these if you don't find a good home for them. They keep stuffed animals in their cars for little ones who need a "friend" when they are in an accident or when the children are being seperated from their parent(s), DV situations, maybe.

Rules???? If you give good service, you should be rewarded. Just like waiting on tables. You do a good job, you get rewarded for it. Think of it like this, if we ALL gave cookies/candy and the likes, they'd shoot us for making them gain all those extra pounds

If you let them get by with it this time, they'll think it's OK to do it again, and again and again. People just don't have any respect for other peoples property or belongings these days.

We use to give our mail lady a gift card for variious restaurants, a different one each year and also a somewhat smaller gift to the sub mail lady. Now the Mail lady has become the sub and the sub became the regular mail lady. Our mail ladies are very nice and very helpful. If I need to mail a package, I can leave the package in the mailbox with a $5 or $10 bill and they will mail my package and bring me the receipt and change the next day. On my way back from Douglasville, I was going I-20 west, to exit 24 in Villa Rica. There was about 3 cars pulled off the road (in the East bound lanes) and then we saw a car laying on it's roof, kind of in the ditch. Then at the East bound entrance ramp to I-20, there was a Fox 5 News crew. Yes, people need to slow down, it's better to arrive alive than not to arrive at all, or have an accident and be forever maimed/disabled!! People are in such a hurry these days, a few more seconds or even minutes, is NOT worth loosing your life or maybe killing someone else.

My daughter asked my hubby to smoke her some chickens on the big green egg, so she could make chicken salad with them, mmmmmm goooood!!!!!!!!We don't like the nuts/grapes in our chicken salad, either.

I've got the crud, also. Felt bad yesterday,last night I went to bed early, woke up about 9 am and 10 am, and 11 am, and 12pm and finally got up about 12:30. Had some errands to run and stop by the grocery store, It ook me forever to get out of Kroger.

Christmas Eve, we have Sandwiches or Pizza and open our gifts and for Christmas Dinner, we do that in the late afternoon/evening. This gives the grandchildren time to open presents and see what Santa brought, visit other grandparents and then our house, is last. Usually the children & grandchildren, come over again the day after Christmas, to help eat the Christmas Dinner leftovers.
