They also have a location on Hwy 5, in Douglasville about 3/4 of a mile south of I-20, on the left, in the old Chili's building. you have to go up to Chickfila and make a U turn. I still don't like thier catfish, though!!!

I like their greens, cornbread and the fried shrimp. I only eat catfish from Route 61, in Dallas on Hwy 61 and Barbeque Street in Cartersville. Also, Toute 61 has "the best" baby back ribs around. Their baby back ribs are better than ANY ribs I've ever had (including Sticky Fingers & Corky's), anywhere around, in Georgia!!!!!!

Car seats "should" have a longer life usage (right word?) than 7 or 8 months!! I have a booster seat that my 9 yo granddaughter used when she was about 4 or 5 yrs ago, at whatever age she was suppose to be at, to be using a booster seat. I can understand NOT using one that's 5, 6 or even 10 yrs old but one or two years should be OK, as long as they have NOT been involved in an accident, of any kind!!! Them suckers cost too dang much money!!!!

I saw a magnetic sign (maybe 4" x 6"), on the back of a car Sunday that said........"Caution: Newly Licensed Driver", I thought that was pretty cool!! More people need them.

I have BCBS of GA, (POS) $15 for PC Dr, $30 for Specialty Dr, $50 ER and $300 for Hospital Stay. When I have to have CT scan, it just depends on "where" it's done. When I first went to the lung Dr, I had a CT scan there, it was no co-pay but, I did have to pay the regular $30 specialty copay. Then the next year in 09, I was sent the the Wellstar Imaging place and was charged $100. This year I had it done at the Dr's office again and NO copay.

They "used" to be a below the Macon line, thing. But, It's a common thing to see them every now, up here. I've even see an albino armadillo.

That's MY exact point!! It looks sooo junky, I don't mean to be rude or ugly but, it is an eyesore!!! Clean it up and move it to the back, build a storage building or something to hide the mess.

Awww c'mon now, everybody can plainly see that the lawn mower shop on Ridge Rd, has taken over the front yard of this place. It looks like it's taken over the yard of the doublewide mobile home to the right of the lawn mower shop. It use to be a nice place, big nice doublewide, built on a fron sunroom then for the next two or three years, they added on a garage to the right of the place and then they recently (last year or two) added on an extention to the right side of the garage. now it just looks deserted and taken over by the mower place. Who knows, they could be the same people??????

Why do parents feel the need to tell their children or let their children know where the guns/ammunition are located??? If the childern don't know Mom and Dad has a gun(s) and ammunition laying around maybe they won't be inclined to try and sneak them out of the house. They (the parents) "should" be responsible enough to keep them in a locked safe place or be made to take gun safety classes, with the whole family!!!!!!

I heard it was a football player. The news team justr said the driver trainee was slurring his words, maybe some kind of medical complications was going on with the trainee??? Prayers for all involved!!

When I was about 9 or 10, I went somewhere with my dad, we got back home and Dad had parked in an empty lot beside our house, for some reason. When I jumped out of his pickup, my foot landed on a coke bottle that had been broken, with the bottom flat on the ground and the jagged edges were sticking straight up. It took forever (it seemed like) for my foot to heal and for me NOT to be able to go skating, was the end of the world. YES

Are you talking about the stop signs behind the left rear of the store, in the "shopping center" parking lot?? Just want to make it clear, as to where these faded stop signs are located. Get a ph # off of an empty outlet door and call the property manangement, to complain. I know what the other poster is talking about at Sam's. Same thing at the Bakers Bridge side entrance to Kroger on Ridge Rd. If you get gas and come out to exit from the side entrance/exit, you have to get out in the entrance lane to even see, to get out into the exit lane. Now, did that make sense to you???

The name of this restaurant (I think) is Stonewall Manor, it's in a beautiful old house. It's on the corner of West Ave and Stonewall St. They are only open on Friday nights. They open at 6 and I don't know what time they close. The cost is $25 per person but, on the buffet they had crab legs, shrimp (boiled & fried) broiled fish, seafood alfredo pasta, scallops, oysters on the half shell, fried crab cakes, soft shell crabs and gumbo, creole and some veggies and plenty of cakes and pies. I need a few of the Paulding Sentinel papers from last week. I think it was last week, anyway. A reporter from Paulding Sentinel, came to Helping Hands. To do a story on what we do for the community and he took a picture of me at my desk. I'd like a few of these papers. I really don't know what date the article was run. Can anyone tell me the date. I'm pretty sure "someone" on pcom must have gotten the paper.tia.
