It's snowing in New Ga, also. Coming down pretty good, not hard but, just a steady flow.

My daughter sent me these in an email and I just couldn't resist from posting the pictures. This is a B-I-G truck This is a grill, even I wouldn't mind having!!! This is a Real B-I-G Wheel!!!! These would be Fun!!!

This is the BEST advice!!! Also, IF you do go to work, it would be a good idea to pack an extra (sweats are the best, in this weather) set of clothes, including a couple of pairs of thick socks, a couple of thick towels and a warm blanket or two, just in case something were to happen and you had to sit in the cold for a little while. It doesn't hurt to be over prepared than under prepared!!! Drive slow and be real careful.

All I do is get a tube sock, fill it 3/4 of the way with rice (or whatever you want) and put a rubberband on the end and Viola, you have an instant (and Cheap) heating pad.

I'd be more affraid of the people driving, that might hit me, as I was walking. We don't need anything. If we "did" need to get out in the snow/slush I'd make sure we walked through the field and NOT on the roadside. Crazy people driving down the roads, playing in the stuff unnerve me!!!

Thanks, LPPT. I was just curious and you told me about the folks and that's enough. I didn't mean to be prying into someones business and was not trying to get anything started. I am kind of private, myself but, just general info won't hurt anyone. Oh well, Thank You LPPT!!!

Yep, we had plenty of warning and plenty of time to get everything we would need but, there is always a few people who do NOT, and WILL NOT listen. The only thing I can think of that we didn't get was the big heavy duty flash lights, the ones we got a few years ago has croaked and we had been meaning to replace them. You know, the big 2 million candlepower flash/emergency lights. We do have plenty of regular flashlights and D batteries. So no trip to the store for us besides, IF we do need anything, we can walk to Publix.

That's quite alright with me because, IF the schools are closed, so is Helping Hands. I volunteer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I DO NOT want to be out, driving in this ice/slush!!

Who cares about mail today??? They need to be at home and off the roads, too!!!!

Chili cheese dip sounds real good, right about now. I forgot to get the ingredients while I was at the grocery store. Oh well, we will have plenty of other foods to eat.

If you know anything about this house, please explain. I'm curious as to know if someone actually lives in this place and what is it used for, if it's used for something other than a regular residency? Loosing my life or possibly killing/hurting/maiming someone elses is NOT worth any job!!! If you have a boss/employer that does not respect the fact that their employees need to get home in a safe and timely manner, maybe they/you need to rethink your future with this employer!
