I think y'all need to take Caped Crusader along as the field trip videographer.

Hubby asked what I wanted for Mother's day.. and I told him, exactly. Go to Home Depot and get a big clay pot (just the plain kind) spray paint it white and let little man paint it for me. A tradition I decided to start for myself last year. Also added, that a house plant to go in the pot would be nice. So........ he comes home on Sunday (he and lil man went to his parents on Sat. & spent the night) afternoon with the clay pot and a house plant. Did he get the paint and paint the pot.... NO..... same thing happened last year, and just like last year, I'll go buy my own dang spray p

Okay, I know this can't be as hard as I'm making it, but I have a camcorder... a few years old, it the mini DV tapes. I want to be able to connect it to my computer and burn the "movies" to DVD. Anyone found an easy way to do this? What software did you use? I am looking at Roxio Easy VHS to DVD and reading reviews which are mixed, so I though I'd see if anyone here had experience with it or with other software. TIA

I take gum by spells... gives my mouth something to do, besides eating!!! I'm also a popper when I chew. Don't mean to, and don't even realize I do it. When I worked, I'd have people come all the hall to my office to tell me to quit popping it... which I always did when it was brought to my attention. But then I'd find myself popping it again.. not blowing bubbles and popping it, but its just the way I chew it, it gets little air pockets on my teeth or something.

Well, I knew a good one one time, but I hear he just got arrested.

This is just so sad. I was a patient for about a year. I though he was a very good doctor and a good christian person. I am in shock, I guess one never knows. The comment that was made that it could have been a staff memeber, I can only say I hope that is the case, but don't think it is if he has been charged. So sad for his family... his 3 sweet young boys! I just can't figure out what drives people to do things like this.....

My youngest had tubes before his 1st bday and tonsils & Adenoids out before 2. It made a world of difference... had them done at Scottish Rite. The only prob we had, was that he had a reaction to the meds, and they couldn't call anything else in because it was a norcodic and they were closing... so we were overnight w/out any real pain meds.... pitiful! It was awful!!! So little and in so much pain, had to go back to the hospital b/c he got dehydrated (cuz I couldn't get anything down him he hurt so bad.) Once he got over the ordeal, he has been great! Not sure how to get around a

I don't need to see it and certainly don't need it to be all over the news and ever magazine/paper around for my 7 year old to see.... and you know that's what will happen if they are released or leaked.

Just got mine... severe Thunder Storm

New Hope- LOTS Of wind, some lightening and starting to hear thuder... stay safe everyone!!!

My fav was the "fire" hat that first baby boy's grandparents got him for Christmas.... complete with flashing light and siren on top. Thought about sending it to their house, but he was just too cute running around the house in that hat with his eyes blinking!! Just remember, they are only little for a while.... he will be 26 this fall.

Thanks everyone I actually called both Hole in One and Northwest! I got VM at Hole in One but talked to someone at Northwest. I have to say I was VERY impressed. The guy I talked to was very nice, and knowledgable. Talked to him for quite a few minutes. I've got an inspector coming out tomorrow morning... actually I have inspectors from two different companies coming out tomorrow. Guess I'll see how can do the best job for the best money! FYI... they guy from Northwest says this is "swarmer" season... very common to see them swarming now.

Yes, my first thought was to head to Ace to get something to kill them in the bed, then I thought a second time that I had better be safe instead of sorry and make sure they aren't in the house.

I got the code red warning too around 3am.. the storm came through here, first around at 2ish. 2nd round wasn't near as strong, but the storms woke me and little one with round 1, didn't need the call.

I'm looking for recomendations please... I've just spotted termites in my flower bed and figured I had better call someone before they make their way to the house (if they aren't already there.) TYIA!
