  1. LOL... we have 3 cats, so I did offer to let her borrow one, but because she travels frequently and is gone for long periods of time, a cat isn't an option. She has an exterminator coming out in the morning. Hopefully they can do something for her.
  2. My mom travels and came home after being gone for 4 weeks to find that some mice had found their way into her house and pantry and had quite a nice time. She has put out the sticky bait traps, and regular traps to no avail. Anyone have any great suggestions besides calling an exterminator? TIA
  3. Thank you all! My mom was confused and thougth it was 120. I didn't think it was!

  9. I was also with Davis (and very happy with them) when they sold and had a very good relationship with the owner. I understand the reasons they sold and the reasons they coulnd't have told their customers. I have to say though, that I have been very happy with the change. I was glad to get the recycing bin and being able to start doing my part to help in that manner without having to pay extra to recycle.

  12. Yes, please pray for that family. What happened was tragic, but they have been through so much. The need our prayers and not our Judgement. I will be praying for both families who have suffered such tragic losses and leave the judgement up to our judicial system and to the Lord for the ultimate judgment.
  13. Sorry, I didn't ready this entire thread so it may have already been said, but Arise is also a legit work at home company, however there are start up costs. I've worked through Arise for 2 years now and love being my own boss, and setting my own hours.
  14. Good luck to you! Keep in mind too, while you're making room for baby would be a great time to "clean house" you can sell some of those items that you don't have to have for some extra money to get by on while you're out. You'd be suprised what people will buy and pay money for. There is a new "Paulding County OnLine Yardsale" page on Facebook for selling stuff. It's pretty cool.
  15. They aren't just "spilling over from Gwinette" they've been very active in Mtta for a while now... the Hispanic Gang's that is.

  19. I would be interested in knowing what is going on and their needs, if they are genuine. Times are hard and it is so sad. Any of us could be without a job and in turn wihtout a home in a short matter of time in this economy. I am thankful that God has blessed us that we both still have jobs and even though we've come close to loosing it, that we do still have our home.
  20. my babies are 7 and 26.... yup, 18 1/2 years between the two. Talk about changes!!!! Geesh!!! But with both of them, I did what the doctor said for the most part, taking, of course, common sense into account and doing what I deemed to be best for my child. Baby #1 was eating baby cereal, from a spoon, per his doctor at 1 week... #2 I think was about 6 mos old, but I held off, he seemed to be quite satisified without food until them. Baby #1 was 8 days late, #2 was taken by c-section 2 weeks early, because he was quite large. Having had a baby both ways, I don't understand those people
