  1. Yeah, I don't think they "have" to do that. It's all part of the image.
  2. No. If somebody's being indecent, then let LE enforce laws on the books. But dictating fashion is not what the framers of the Constitution had in mind.
  3. 1. 1964 1/2 Mustang convertible (candy apple red) 2. Bugatti Veyron (not Super Sport...just the regular one) 3. Triumph TR6 convertible 4. Vintage Mercedes from 50s era (could be one of several) 5. Porsche 911 Carrera Watching Barrett-Jackson causes me to have lust in my heart. Edited 'cause I keep thinking of ones I love.
  4. He couldn't do any worse than 99.9% of elected officials, and would do a good deal better than many of them. Also, I daresay he's much smarter (and definitely more beautiful... ). I'm also going to run my cat, the Fat Black Beast, for office, so you can vote for her, too. Hey, they can be running mates.
  5. OK, settle down, girls. We can't have no hair-pullin' fight here on pcom.
  6. AOL merged with HuffPo or bought them or something. I remember Arianna H. made a boatload of money and now the investment is in the crapper for AOL.
  7. I hope it was the nimrods who keep tearing up the lawns in our neighborhood with their foolishness.
  8. Oh, yeah - I had forgotten about that. hahahahaaa
  9. Yeah, didn't Animal happen across some folks doin' the nasty there? Sheesh...
  10. Well, it could be a Transformer, and when it finds the car, it transforms into the wrecker.
  11. This has my vote. An OCD stalker, as it were.
  12. I've only ever had one migraine (thank the Lord) and I agree...they are incapacitating. But just headaches? Please. I work whether I have a headache or my back is killing me or whatever. I freely admit that nausea will slow me down more than a headache, but I've always worked through pain. It's part of life.
  13. I've never been prego, but let a man go through natural childbirth and get back to me.
  14. Many/most of the folks near Crossroads/Cedarcrest can hear the sirens coming from Cobb. And good luck with getting the sirens instealled. A lot of folks don't think they're that effective, and with the budget issue, well...
  15. If it's a legal matter, I personally would have a real survey done. I agree with dallasbrowneyes' husband...in matters like these, I would not factor in cost.
  16. Depends on where the property is as to whether the county would have a copy of the plat, and whether the seller/buyer filed one. (Subdivisions would more likely have plats on file.) For a real survey, you would need to use a surveying firm, which will run $250-$300 on average.
  17. I WAS TOLD THERE'D BE NO MATH HERE!!! GAH!!! :runningawaysobbing:
  18. Now, that lady was a REAL teacher. God bless her...
  19. Surely not more than most elected officials, though? Imma send her to stay with you awhile so you can grow to love cats. Cheyenne would be so thrilled.
  20. Awesome. I liked him, and I think I voted for him in the primary. He's certainly got my vote on this one. RE: C. Mark's comment - I have come to the conclusion that my cat would do a far better job at being an elected government official than 99% of the goobs who are in office. Sure, she wouldn't do anything but lay around and eat and sleep a lot, but the only expense to taxpayers would be her food and cat litter. And the bonus is that she wouldn't be doing any harm. I think I'll see if I can get her on the ballot...if you see a choice for Fat Black Beast, give her your vote! I
  21. Don't know about the around-the-neck part, but the a/c return air grille in the ceiling is a common place to tie the top end. Many prisons have installed suicide-proof grilles.
  22. OK, this is sort of a "cowboy" dish as my nephew would say, but one of my favorite things when in winter is to make a ground beef/turkey pork-n-beans thingy. Sort of like stroganoff, but not. Chop/brown onions in olive oil till carmelized; brown ground beef, drain off any liquid. Add one large can of pork-n-beans (or two if you think you want more after it's in there, and I don't drain off the liquid from the beans), season with salt/pepper/mrs. dash and simmer for 15 minutes or so. Serve with ritz crackers or saltines. Easy comfort food. It sounds kinda gross due to the pork-n-beans, bu
