You're right - let's just sit down and talk to them about making good choices vs. bad choices and then make them go to bed without dinner. That will teach them!!!

IMO: The correct punishment would be expulsion. Most likely, the criminal charges will be pled down to misdeameanors, but if a kid cannot respect school property, they should be banned from that property and forced to pay for the damage.

lol - an earlier poster said something about the kids not being able to walk across the stage and graduate. If I had done something like this as a kid - it wouldn't have mattered what the school or LEO did, my father would have made sure that I was unable to walk across the stage at graduation..... Sitting down wouldn't have been an option either....

$107,000 for a car that has been driven less than 200 miles, wow!!! At that rate, the cost per mile is about $535.00. I guess I shouldn't complain about paying $3.69 a gallon for gas this morning....

Be careful, after they get through editing, you may have another "honey boo boo child" on your hands!! Just kidding! Let me know when you get an air-date, I would love to see it! -
Perhaps if they have reached the end of their debate, they should stop talking?... Just a thought.

It is a shame because I've seen it first hand (and more than once). Disability depends on a lot of factors - rank at the time, years of service, level of disabilty, etc. I promise, most military disability is substantially less than that.

I would think it would depend on his past rental history. Does he pay for a few months up front only to stop paying after that? Check some references.

Not to highjack the thread, but IF they were injured, they MIGHT get disability. With the VA and Social Security, you have to dig through so much red tape, that it can take years to get approved. And, especially with Social Security, it's pretty standard to have disability denied the first time you apply so many people are either forced to get an attorney, try to fight it themselves, or give up. Back to regular programming....

Just shaking my head and walking away......

People who lie about being a police officer are arrested - how is this different? Lying has consequences, it has nothing to do with anyone's Constitutional rights.

Before anyone gets too excited - most of these companies literally only pay a couple of dollars a survey. I'm signed up with a company and I generally make about $3 a survey and take one or two a month. I think I made a whopping $18 last year. But, I do it because I get to try products out from time to time and it's kind of neat.

Forget telling the parents, what did the police say when you called and reported it? If someone, regardless of age, is driving erratically or dangerously, do us all a favor and call the police.

Tuesday Dinner Thread - Chicken Gizzards and Gnocchi
LisaC replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Surepip, I sure hope the Mrs. has a love of chicken gizzards, because if my hubby ever cooked them for me (with or without the gnocchi), I would personally remove his gizzard. Happy Valentine's Day!!! -
Back on topic, I use Pandora, but I also get a pretty decent selection from Yahoo!Music

I didn't get one this morning, but I really wish they would stop sending them in the middle of the night having my phone go off at 1:00 a.m. scared me to death!

I personally don't think it's used often enough...

SugarSync and DropBox do not let you "create" files. There are merely for file storage. I can take a Word, Excel, PowerPoint, .jpg, .pdf file and move it out to my cloud folder. It's stored there. When I need to access it from my iphone, home computer or work computer, I go out to the "cloud", open the file and edit. When I'm done, I save it on my computer system again and then upload the current version to the "cloud," if I will need it again or want to keep it stored out there. P.S. Our firm phones are linked to our firm email accounts so if we create an outlook to do list or appoi

DropBox is a good file sharing system. DH uses MicroSoft Cloud and likes it - says it's easy to use. I've been sent files from people I know from SugarSync and it's also easy to use.

All the Pcom ladies who said they were sick during
LisaC replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I went through 9 months of morning sickness. Phenergran didn't help, zolphran didn't help, not even the old home remedies. I spent more than my fair share of timein the ER getting IV fluids. In the end, I Knew exactly when I would actually throw up. I kept small trash bags in my car so I could pull over when driving and at work. I found a protein shake that I could hold down (when mixed w decaf coffee), and I had a very bland diet. I was so bad that brushing my teeth would make me sick, I would brush twice, throw up twice, and then rinse with mint listerine. I can tell you that the mo
